| Chapter 1 - Spoiler:
Set in Detroit, present time and date, a rash of killings plagues the night, with the body toll mounting. Local law enforcement, ready the chase, as the killer or killers elude them at every corner. Save one Capitan Bourne Du Hast His role in this is not as clear cut as the humans answerable to him would believe. He alone holds the key to finding the killers responsible. He need only to look into himself and to His brother Abaddon., to find the ones responsible. He holds many secrets some of which he is sworn by oath, blood and honour to uphold. And in his pursuit of anonymity, things begin to unravel. Abaddon., and Bourne are not brothers by flesh, but brothers bound by oath, honour and blood. For they both at one time belonged to the Order of Lemur.
We have yet to fully understand why Abaddon. is no longer with the Order All we know so far is that something happened, to sway him to the dark side. It is this dark side within him that he needs to feed, that insatiable blood lust that comes upon him like a freight train. So he hunts, and kills. But not without remorse, or recognition, he does not kill indiscriminately. He chooses his prey. Racking up the body count nightly. Bringing his frenzy into the limelight, and grabbing the unwanted attentions of the local law enforcement. This is where we meet Detective Evangelize Riley a hard headed stubborn, woman. Who has unintentionally captured the eye of Capitan Bourne Du Hast, who feels the innate need to protect her from his brother, and from harm. Without realising he himself will be the one to put her in harms way. He scrambles to bide time, while they make their way to the latests murder scene. Where unkown to the Cops at the scene the killer stands in the shadows, watching, and waiting.
Enters Sorsha Daughter of the Chthonic Goddess Of Sorcery and Witchcraft, Hecate. A goddess in her own right, she appears at each murder scene like some freaky superhero. As to her purpose no one knows, but she is here to help such as it is. Normally level headed, decisive and in control, until she smacks eyes on Abaddon, and her Fae senses go berserk even at the mention of his name. If you are wondering what that is? when a Fae is attracted sexually to someone they emit a glow, the glow of course getting stronger and stronger as the attraction grows. Needing to get her self under control She plants a kiss upon Abaddon, with the intention, to taste his blood, to garnish a connection to him. It kinda works both ways, he can feel her and she him. She vanishes leaving him alone in the shadows watching Bourne and a woman. talking. All the while, Bourne and Abaddon., exchange words, and insults, Abaddon. hidden from sight of his brother only speaking to him via telepathic message. It isn't until Abaddon., claps eyes on Evangelize that he is drawn out into the open, a connection with her. Something that connects her to him. He appears into the light and boldly walks over to where She and Bourne stand talking. she is handing him the pendant that Abaddon lost earlier in the night. A heated discussion ensues, Bourne unable to do anything to him they simply talk. A few revelations unveiled to our unsuspecting Detective.
After leaving them Abaddon. shimmers home, remembering Sorsha, the way she tasted and felt. Calls the beast within, without thought, he moves thru space and time at beckon call to the beasts whims, as it hunts for her. To sate his lust and lesson the burning ache that throbs located in his loins. He would have taken her, if it hadn't been for the untimely presence of Lucifer in her bathroom cabinet mirror. Warning bells went off in his head like an air raid siren. Now he has put distance between the two of them, swearing should Sorsha come near him he she would regret it. He is anything if not a man of his word.
Back to the crime scene, while she snoops for clues Evangelize and the Captain throw down, He trying to protect her from the truth and she being a stubborn pig headed woman, hell bent on uncovering the truth. Inadvertently she discovers the Order of Lemur. But could someone be helping her? How did she get into the Orders secret network? The order catches on, and sends out a call to Bourne to bring the threat in. With regret in his heart, he captures Evangelize, and takes her too his brethren. But something strange happens, as she is taken over the threshold of Io's sanctuary. the Mark of the Order sears itself into her flesh. And not just part of the mark, the full mark. Stunned beyond belief as Bourne recalls only one other was marked so, and that person was cast out by Io himself for all eternity. That person who he now hunts. What is the connection? Confused and alarmed, he hesitated, but being a loyal faithful member of this order, and the many years of conditioning, in not questioning it, he followed like a lamb to the slaughter, accosting her into a holding sell where things just go from worse to fucking bad.
Meanwhile back at the crime scene Detective Conner’s car has exploded. Distraught and mourning the loss of his partner in the fiery blaze, Sorsha materializes back at the scene, wondering where the hell Evangelize is. She searches for her. Finding her, trapped and held in one of the Orders cells. Upon materializing in the cell with Evangelize, Sorsha's intent to free her. Heated words are exchanged. Between Sorsha and Bourne , all the while Io watched and waited, to claim the newest member of his order.
In self preservation, Io materializes on the scene,Evangelize eyes lock onto the new comer. A sort of recognition passes between before he sends her off without a word. Fear of loosing what is his, and fear of Bourne’s lust, forcing his hand. But why? And so it has come to past that Bourne and Sorsha now seek to find Evangelize , and the only person who can find her is the only other who acquired the seal like she did. His enemy his brother, Will he help?
And so we are back to Io. As he watches Evangelize dally in his true sanctuary, something inside him snaps, enough to push him, into the arms of another Slayer hood. Making a deal with their leader and Goddess. An assassin brought. For an undisclosed price. Her name Layla. A contract yet to be forged, so as to her purpose one can only assume it involves death, and carnage. But the real question is who is she after?… as many things come to fruition in their world, there are secrets to be discovered, and shared.

| Chapter 2 - Spoiler:
Layla; once part of the Valkyrie Scarlettine Sisterhood, now assassin to Io and protector to Eva. A contract founded in trust, the only thing of value Layla had left to barter, forged in blood. The full contents of the contract still remain unclear, however Layla is subject to the whims of Io. In more than one-way, as the tension between Io and Layla increases Io seeks comfort elsewhere.
Bourne makes his feelings towards the order of Lemur very clear to Sorsha, they are family and what he is about to do grates on his conscience, he relies on his link as ‘brother’ to Abaddon, knowing that if Abaddon still calls him brother then he has not forsaken the ways of the Lemur. He tries to make order of the chaos in Detroit, how Eva was able to infiltrate the Lemur on-line services. He can’t figure out who has been helping her, but his thoughts correctly return to Io, and to access Io’s sanctuary they need Abaddon. Meanwhile Sorsha tries to comfort Bourne and assure him of Eva’s well being, sadly she cannot pass through the void to retrieve Eva, for that they require Abaddon and the sparks of a plan glow within them.
Eva however, whilst being physically safe is dealing with a emotional turmoil. Namely a prior association with Io who she assumed was dead. She resists Io’s attempts to comfort her, and as usual his explanations are sadly lacking. Perhaps because during this time Io is distracted still by his newest acquisition ‘Layla’; his curiosity led him to spy on her which in turn left him aroused and on edge, making him reduce the time Layla had to consider her contact.
He tries to talk to Eva about his ‘death’ but his explanation of “it was to protect you” only infuriated Eva, turning her tears into anger as she lashed out. Io stood, taking her anger, allowing his heart to break, then enveloping Eva in his embrace whilst he asks for forgiveness. Eva finds comfort and a feeling of home in Io’s embrace. Finding out the part of the truth about her heritage as Neferati, and about Io. Even though Io has been truthful with her, Eva finds her status as a deity difficult to accept, finding it difficult to trust Io. Wanting to return to her old life. But a door once opened must we walked through, and as Eva discovers her powers. Io in his pride offers Eva training. Just what is their relationship? Clearly it is deep and involves love, but no passion or romance. She appeared with Io’s mark, now where does that point you?
Io and Eva sit down to eat, Io still finding his mind wandering to Layla. Why? What was so special about her? When she ran a feather cross her skin he could feel its caress. Why? Is there more between the two of them than we originally believed. Unable to stand the lust he was feeling Io sought comfort in his harem, and in his favourite Ethulia. Unfortunately projecting his climax to Layla, connecting hem further.
Meanwhile in Detroit Bourne tries to fathom the difficult relationship between Abaddon and Sorsha, in tracking down Abaddon Sorsha’s sexual attraction to him becomes increasingly obvious as she begins to glow, and can not stop, requiring Sorsha to disguise this with a glamour. Sorsha and Bourne continue to look for Abaddon, conscious of the fact he would not be pleased to see them. On finding them and seeing what they interrupted Sorsha is unable to hold her glamour, glowing like a light bulb, her thoughts centred on Abaddon and sex. Their past history is clear in the sexual tension manifesting in their relationship, Bourne leaves them for a while with instructions to get a room. Reading Bourne’s thoughts Abaddon discovers information about Eva and the seal, they bond over a bottle of absinthe, and Bourne asks id Eva had assistance into the order.
Io leaves his harem and returns to Layla, where they start up a game of cat and mouse, using the contact as an excuse to barter, but they both know Layla will sign. Io surprises himself and Layla by offering her autonomy within the contract, on condition she gives him something she had never willingly submitted. Her trust. They ‘discuss’ it over food, their conversation serving as verbal foreplay. This enraged the succubus which lurks within Layla, it made her blood boil, it started a chain reaction which would result in the druid and vampire parts of her soul battling each other; and the only thing to unite them? Sex, or sexual contact. Layla, feeling she has no choice, kisses Io. Throughout the banter Io, even though he wants Layla, insists vehemently that she is not a whore, nor should she whore herself to him. As something which had been bought like property this confounds Layla, her mind cannot grasp autonomy and freedom, never having any in her life before. She struggles with this and the knowledge that Io desires her: she can feel it. Confused over what he wants from her and why he is so vehement that she accept and understand the terms of the contract. In her mind, as chattel she should have no rights. So why was Io giving her them? Layla drifts off to sleep and dreams of Io, of their combined passion and ecstasy.
Back in Detroit Abaddon discovers Bourne’s love for Eva, explaining that Eva would not need help accessing the order of Lemur. He asks why Bourne would go against Io to get Eva back, his reply ‘She shouldn’t be part of this world’. Abaddon agrees to help but at a price, but when the time comes will Bourne be able to pay it? To end Abaddon’s misery? On that the brother’s swear allegiance, the only problem, Sorsha. Abaddon wants nothing to do with her, whilst Bourne knows that they need her. Sorsha is the only one of them Eva might trust, and informs Abaddon of this fact.
Sorsha knows that if she is to work with Abaddon she must try and rid herself of some of her tension. She visits Aengus, a fae friend and fuck buddy, even though they fulfil each other’s needs, Sorsha is still left wanting; and the only person who can fulfil the passionate void within her? Abaddon. When she returns to her apartment she finds Abaddon, the passion and the tension is too much. They submit to each other, give each other some release. But as the final act approaches the beast snaps within Abaddon, holing in triumph as it mated with Sorsha, sadly causing what was left of Abaddon to hate her anew. As the beast builds within Abaddon and before he can climax he rips himself from Sorsha. The rejection hurting Sorsha anew. He barks Bourne’s instructions at her then disappears to find his release in the blood of a murderer.

| Chapter 3 - Spoiler:
If you are of a nervous disposition then look away now, if not then pull up a chair and get comfy for this entry concerns foreplay, and lots of it. In fact it wouldn’t be far from the truth to say that some of our characters fucked like bunnies. Where to begin?
Layla! As Layla leaned back in her seat she dreamed of Io, specifically what she wanted to do to him, and what she wanted him to do to her. Io observed her squirming in her sleep but in an uncharacteristic moment of generosity he relinquished his abilities to see her thoughts. Layla awakes and her flirtatious assault on Io begins anew. Io’s constant refusal to pin down and explain aspects of her contact infuriates Layla, Io arranges for another to instruct Layla in the ways of the order, finding his own temper and passion difficult to control. He can feel Layla, but also future danger for Neferati, he leaves Layla with Shailoh the scribe guardian, and goes in search of Eva. On finding her he informs Eva that she must train in the order of Lemur, she is of his bloodline and it is a must. He also makes the decision to introduce her to Layla, even though Eva is acting like a petulant child she agrees, curious to meet this Layla, and curious as to why Io felt the need to shut Eva out of his mind. Was he frightened she would discover the truth abut Layla or about ‘HIM’, and I don’t mean Io.
Meanwhile back in Detroit. Sorsha is still hurt by Abaddon’s actions, Abaddon is frustrated, he needs sexual release, and he tries to take his frustrations out on Bourne, slamming him into a wall. Bourne tells Abaddon they must wait; this does not go down well. Abaddon’s reply, he tells Bourne to ‘fuck the fairy’, but Bourne knows that even though he has rejected her Abaddon sees Sorsha as his woman. Whilst showering Sorsha appears to Abaddon, he does not have the strength to send her away, trying he moves out her reach and tell Sorsha that Io will not hurt Eva. Bourne arranges for them to meet at his place and discuss strategy. Abaddon disappears to taunt Sorsha, and a game of cat and mouse ensues, she follows him to a small bakery, where she sees Abaddon in flagrante delicto with Dahlia, Dahlia is aware that Abaddon is using her as bait for Sorsha, but she is quite happy to enjoy the ride. Unfortunately Abaddon can’t, he has to pretend Dahlia is Sorsha. Seeing them angers and hurts Sorsha, she projects a message to Abaddon, to enjoy Dahlia and that she was going to Bourne’s, but that his little games hasn’t worked, that she still wants him. Abaddon can feel Sorsha’s tears of anger and frustration her lust for him and the promise of something more, and it hurts him, just doesn’t know why. He turns from Dahlia, his unwanted passion solely for Sorsha.
Let us return to Io and Eva, Io and Eva materialise in Layla’s apartment where Shailoh is instructing Layla, even though Shailoh looks like she would happily run Layla through. Io introduces Eva to them, on seeing Eva’s mark Shailoh grabs her arm, frightening Eva, angering Io and causing Layla to intervene. She forcibly removes Shailoh’s hand from Eva, and the sparks of friendship are born. Layla foolishly asks if Eva is Neferati, this does not please Io who invades her thoughts and berates her. Layla pushes her thoughts back and the game of cat and mouse begins with vigour, arousing them both. Io asks Shailoh to instruct Eva, and uses it as a guise to continue the ‘mental foreplay’ with Layla. This came to an abrupt end when Eva shouted “Oh my god you are both into him!” meaning of course Layla and Shailoh. She turns on Io and says he hasn’t changed. Sensing Shailoh’s hatred of Eva, which shone in her tears stained eyes, Io returned Shailoh to the order saying he would send Eva to her tomorrow. He sends Eva to sleep, as she is falling under the spell Eva hears Layla’s ‘he’s all yours’ and manages an ‘eeeew gross’ before falling into unconsciousness. Her reaction made Layla wonder just exactly was her relationship to Io?
This left Io and Layla, their passion rubbing and clawing at each other, demanding completion and capitulation. They decide to scratch that itch, and Io shows his fascination for stilettos! Aware that they are disturbing Eva and could be discovered Io decides to move them to Paris. Paris! Yes you read right, he must be a romantic at heart. Anyway back to my summary. I’m certain you can imagine what happened in Paris, it involved a lot of sweating and panting. Sex with Io, brought out the beast in Layla, and he was happy to allow the beast freedom to ride him to oblivion, climaxing as she drank his blood. The beast was happy and satisfied, but it was far from over; now Layla wanted to play, and Io was only too happy to accommodate her. But that is a story for another time.

| Chapter 4 - Spoiler:
Are you sitting comfortably and I will continue my tale of lust, intrigue and beasts.
Whilst Io and Layla were in Paris, Bourne, Sorsha and Abaddon used the opportunity to take Eva from Layla’s New York Abode. The plan works well until Abaddon feels the effects of Io’s lust which incapacitates him. Just what exactly is their relationship? Sorsha does what she can to help Abaddon but as the passion wanes he refuses, only to have the lust return with a vengeance. Eva is also affected by this lust but in a much lower level, the lust Io is feeling renders Abaddon weak and incapable. Whilst a rejected Sorsha returns Eva to Detroit it is Bourne who ‘has to touch the guy with an erection’ as he puts it.
When we left Paris Io had just satisfied the vampiric beast which resides deep within Layla, now it was Layla’s turn. Their lust for each other seemingly insatiable, moving from Paris to Greece where the passion simply intensified under the heat of the Greek sun. It is their combines passion which is transferred to Abaddon, but their pleasure comes to an abrupt end when Io realises Eva has been taken.
In Bourne’s apartment Sorsha tends to the weak Abaddon, even offering her own blood to help return his strength. Sadly this is when the situation turns from bad to worse, the blood lust brings forth Faysal the beast, and he is transferred into Sorsha. Abaddon uses the beasts desire to mate and tries to seduce him out of Sorsha. This works, the beast leaves Sorsha, however when he returns to Abaddon it is Faysal who is dominant, with the last of his strength Abaddon rips himself away from Sorsha. The Beast wants to mate, and Abaddon cannot allow that, and throws himself and Faysal through the wall and into Bourne’s room, shocking Bourne and Eva. Sorsha is racked with guilt knowing now the constant struggle Abaddon is in.
Aware of the situation Io sends back up, Layla with the orders to protect Eva and stop the beast without killing him. However he was a bit distracted when he sent her, he forgot to clothe her. Layla arrived in Detroit naked, aroused and not amused.

| Chapter 5 - Spoiler:
Unaware that Layla is now in the apartment with them, The three of them stare at the each other thru the hole in the wall. Sorsha still splayed out on the floor, her top ripped open, her pants around her ankles, she stares at the man who has risen laughing maniacally, to himself. Faysal is at the forefront and in control. Bourne seemingly frozen on the spot, as Eva reels back. Layla making her entrance dressed in a robe, instantly draws the beasts attention. The smell of sex and arousal thickly permeates Layla. Just what the beast longs and searches for, a mate in which to carry his immortality. Thinking she is an easy target, the beast and Layla lock into a battle of wits and words. Resided to the fact she wasn’t going to yeild. He narrows in on Sorsha, remembering she wants this flesh, his other half with an unreasoning passion. Her glow flicks on unwillingly as he bores down on her. Materializing instantly at her side, he steals her away, taking her to the underground.
He teases her, trying to seduce her into the moment. Sorsha’s body unwillingly responds to his touch, as he beseeches her over and over to yield. To submit. Meanwhile still at Bournes Apartment a discussion erupts as Bournes suspicions and instant disliking of Layla keeps them some what waylaid. Finally they come to a consensus , as Bourne recites he can only carry one of them to Faysal’s Lair. Both him and Layla decide its best for Eva to be left behind. Eva refusing to listen to them, shimmers herself out instantly. Leaving the other two staring in disbelief. Materializing in the underworld, only to find Sorsha battling with the beast, having called one of her mothers knives, she drives it into Faysal’s stomach, But to no effect. He revels in the carnage, in the pain lapping up every ounce of it like a some sick fucking dog. Sorsha realizing this aunt working changes her tact, and just as she begins to heal the wound, white light fills the room, She looks up to see Eva standing near but far enough out of the way, surrounded in light. A knowing passes between Abaddon and Eva, as they speak to one another silently “sister” he breathes. And as he does, he shows her how to defeat the beast. Faysal hisses at her, and tries desperately to shield himself from the intense white light but more importantly the connection that Abaddon and Eva. Bourne and Layla materialize behind Eva.
Bourne having sworn his oath to Abaddon, takes up the fight and moves swiftly towards his brother, his intention. To end it. Only to be stopped, frozen again in time by Eva’s burgeoning powers. She commands and speaks to them each, telling them the only way to beat back Faysal. Is thru love and healing. She cocoons them all into her light, while Layla raises the dragon, a symbol of the power the druid race wield. Amplifying their combined memories, and the healing process. Faysal unwilling to yield calls forth the demons, and angels of the abyss. Promising them blood and flesh to feast on. But as the dragon whips around the room, intensifying the white light, the demons and angels recede unwilling to take on the combined powers within this tiny hold. After what seems an eternity the roar of power fades, and what is left in its wake, a quiet reprieve, as Abaddon lies weakened on the black onyx floor, and Sorsha next to him covered in blood hurt badly. The small band of heroes spent and exhausted stand back victorious in the knowledge the beast was beaten.
Layla does a once over going from person to person checking, healing. Sorsha latches onto Abaddon , materializing them instantly into the very room where it all started back at Bournes Apartment. Leaving the other three to materialize at will. Drinks all round they thought as the vodka began to flow, thoughts of food, and discussions of who, what where and why passed between Layla and Bourne. Suspicion still rife on Bournes Part. Layla only wanting to return home, Beseeches Bourne for a teleport home. All the while Eva Scrolls the menu and house for food. Anything to keep her from Bourne. Which takes her down the hallway, in the direction of her Weakened brother. Sorsha calling out to her, the door fly’s open and Eva propels herself on top of her brother. Their connection sealed. As they acknowledge each other as siblings. Sorsha stands back. As Eva showers Abaddon with hugs. Switching ever so fast from hugging to hunting for food, Eva tentatively tries to draw them out into the lounge. She leaves first leaving Abaddon and Sorsha behind. A discussion unravels the result of which, leads to a pact between Abaddon and Sorsha. She swearing not to seek him out. For the first time he leans into her accepting her help her kindness. As they too join the others in the lounge, only to find Eva there alone with a bag of crisps and a menu to for Thai takeout.
While the others were in the room Bourne had taken Layla back to her Apartment. Upon materializing there, it all came crashing in on him. This was where they‘d taken Eva from. Which meant, Layla was more closely involved with Io then he had first assumed. Layla being ever polite, went to thank him for his help, and as Bourne nodded and intended to leave, Io came sauntering out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. Io definitely not a procrastinator cut straight to the chaste, and enquired after Eva. The tension taught and strained. Layla excuses herself from them and slips out of the room. The conversation between Io and Bourne ending with a summons for Bourne to convene with Io at the order which only spells bad shit for the captain. He materializes out leaving Layla and Io alone.

And the center of it all, laid within the apartment walls she so eagerly watched.

He rushes to the bathroom to shower and change only to find the main one locked. Sorsha is still inside. Deciding enough is enough she exits the bathroom, just before Bourne leaves. And gets the Low down. Eva comes to asking the occupants of the room if they felt it? like someone was watching them, they all nodded in agreements. Before Bourne leaves for the station, he barks an order at Eva to call Conner or go in to see him. Shit its still dark time and the Capitan hasn't slept in 5 days. Eva shrugs him off and again she drifts back to sleep Leaving Sorsha and Abaddon Alone.
At first Abaddon is polite, and has himself in check. Poor Sorsha, she merely inquired about freeing him from Faysals grip and our Abbie lost the plot. Screaming at Sorsha, leaving her alone and tired at Bourne's she falls silently off to sleep. Abaddon in his fury materializes out of the apartment and across town. He tries desperately to teether the pain, focusing only on the hunt to feed the beast. He couldn't even stand, he was to weak. He faltered Stumbling down the street the twilight sky above. Keeling only 100 paces from his original spot. A black bently rolls around the corner. Bourne clapping eyes on his brother, rushes to his side and stuffs him in the car. Abaddon all the while cursing do not take me to fucking yours. And that is what Bourne did. Arm over his shoulder Bourne helped him inside, Sorsha startled sat up right and literally flew to Abaddons side. Eva pissed off at Bourne and Pissed off for no apparent reason, decides she has to get out of there, grasping her new found powers she materializes out. A little bit of grand theft auto, and she was rolling in style, the black bently purred like a beast and she had it hurtling at great speed to the thumping tunes of "CRUD", more to come.
Leaving Bourne, Sorsha and Abaddon alone. Bourne retires to his bedroom and calls in, stating his brothers been attacked and he needed to be there, and in about an hour he would live to regret it. A heated argument erupts between Abaddon and Sorsha. Both of them speaking in different languages, hers women, and his men. She wanting only to help him, him being the bull headed man he is wasn't having it. The go round and round. long story short Abaddon is a first class C- -T. you fill in the blanks. Just at the height of the Argument Bourne receives a call, something about his car, and Eva. He curses but is happy to find an escape clause out of his apartment. He sees Eva helping this newcomer and whilst mentally berating Eva he sidesteps her to speak to Gehnasis. They go into his office to discuss her qualifications. They can sense otherworldly things about each other, and the secrets begin to come out. Although Bourne realizes things about her, that she doesn't even know herself. He asks if she can start right away.
With Wriot so close to Gehnasis, the one he watched over, he is really feeling drained. Eva goes off to find him water and aspirin. She returns to find him with Gehnasis and Bourne. Bourne and Eva retreat into his office to have her quitting the force official, leaving the other two alone. Gehnasis goes over to Wriot and they have their first interaction in ages.
As Eva and Bourne enter his office she feels Abaddons hunger and collapses to the floor. Everyone rushes to Eva's aid, as the cavalry arrives, Alexis heals her. With Eva healed, Gehasis leaves the room to see about interrogating the witness. Eva turns to Alexis for answers about what happened. Alexis shows her in one of her amazing light hows.

| Chapter 8 - Spoiler:
Abaddon materializes in the shadows, cursing Sorsha's existence, the battle within him raging. Then he spots it, a gang of thugs closing in on an innocent, enter Anggun. Letting Faysal do what he does best, the thugs are cut down in a bloody massacre. The saved innocent having witnessed the whole thing like a macabre dance passes out onto the ground. Abaddon steps back into the shadows to watch over her until help arrives.
Bourne hears the 187 over the scanners. Linking with Abaddon he gets the low down on what happened. Bourne arrives and coaxes Anggun awake. Abaddon takes his cue to leave. As Du Hast asks her what happened, Gehnasis and Conner arrive on scene. Bourne gets Gehnasis to take her statement as he goes to talk with Conner. Knowing Anggun is freaked out Gehnasis takes her to a quieter place to get the information she seeks. After telling the detective her story, a weary Anggun goes home. Gehnasis returns Conners car and returns home. She has a quick meal and heads back to the station.
Back at the station Lexi leaves Eva to Wriot as she wanders the station, looking for something edible to eat. Wriot and Eva discuss leaving leaving the station. She uses a phone and leaves a message on Sorsha's machine asking if her offer to come live there was still open. Bourne returns and waits for her to get off the phone. Heated words are exchanged between them and frustrated Bourne kisses her. Without a word he turns away to find Gehnasis with boxes in her hand and offers to help her carry them. Eva turns to Wriot and says let's go.
Meanwhile, Anggun arrives home to her apartment complex to find her neighbor and friend Surya Naranayan Asistant District Attorney waiting and worried about her. He questions her as to her were abouts and wearily she relents and tells him. Sensing she isn't telling him everything Surya decides to make a trip to the station on his lunch break. Arriving at the station Surya calls out to Bourne as he and Gehnasis are about to interrogate the witness. Introductions are made. Surya inquires about the latest killings and Bourne asks if he is doing so officially. Bourne smiles and tells him that the witness is Lou Cipher and gives him the file and then shows him the video of the interview done that morning. Gehansis goes for coffee as they discuss this new intriguing witness.
Alexis goes off to find a place to dwell. She finds what she needs in an open field outside of downtown Detroit. Feeling her animal side calling she gives in and lets it run free. This leads her to The Betrayer's latest kill. A woman from the Order. She calls out to anyone listening for help.
Meanwhile Sorsha makes a trip to the Underworld to ask her mother Hecate for help, wanting to find away to help Abaddon. Her mother knows what she seeks and asks her price. Sorsha cringes at her mothers laughter and has a bad feeling about this but is still determined to help Abaddon if she can. She returns home to find a message from Eva and rings back letting her know yes, she can come and stay. Not much time passes before she senses Eva and Wriot materialize in her bedroom. After some more flirtatious banter between them they head towards the kitchen. Waiting as they leave and head down the hall she materializes herself in her bathroom. Locking herself in her bathroom Sorsha performs her spell. It is the first one she has ever performed, and it is a powerful one. She can't contain all of the power. Before Wriot can tell Eva his story they feel the excess power leave Sorsha. They head down the hall and Eva crumbles to the ground calling out for her brother. He arrives pissed beyond belief as he feels Hecate's powers ebbing and flowing. Alexis rushes to Sorsha's side as the power over takes her, Alexis breaks Sorsha's circle.
Abaddon, Eva and Wriot exchange heated words and Wriot pushes Abaddon out of the way to help Eva. He feeds her his blood which serves to dampen her powers and linking them for the time being. Alexis and Sorsha beg Abaddon to help Sorsha, knowing he is the true person she needs. Wriot and Abaddon materialize into the bathroom. Gritting his teeth he asks Alexis what he needs to do. She tells him and he starts to comply. But Faysal is trying to make an appearance. Alexis pulls Eva into the room and uses the phoenix to help Abaddon battle Faysal. Abaddon winning out he grabs Sorsha, and tells her that he lied, he does care. The others think of happy, love filled thoughts. Sorsha begins to come back to herself, cursing her mothers name, realizing that Hecate was demanding payment for the spell from Abaddon as well.
With Sorsha back, Abaddon demands to know what she bargained and why. Before the can go talk privately Eva tells him to back off. Eva and riot retreat to the kitchen to discuss the drama, ordering a mountain of food for everyone as Abaddon and Lexi help Sorsha into another bathroom. Sorsha tries to talk to Abaddon about what happened but he is nothing if not stubborn. With heated and hurtful words Abaddon tells Sorsha that he will never forgive her for taking away his right to choose and demands she tell everyone what it was she had done. He leaves Alexis and Sorsha alone in the bathroom. Alexis comforts Sorsha with kind words and they form a bond. Feeling better Sorsha steels herself to go tell everyone what happened. Before they leave the bathroom Layla appears, sensing something wrong with Eva.
In the kitchen Sorsha gathers everyone and tells them of her spell. A spell to help put Faysal to sleep, make him dormant if Abaddon needs to feed when drained. She tells him she is not sorry for doing it and he can decide to use it or not. But she apologizes to Eva for having the backlash flow into her. She asks for hr forgiveness.
And all the while, Judas Lear heard the call of power and has come to watch, and study.

| Chapter 9 - Spoiler:
The immortals feel the betrayer, Judas Lear, watching them and just as quickly he is gone satisfied with what he has gleaned from the immortal in the apartment.
Layla appears in the apartment having felt that something is wrong with Eva. She meets Lexi and Wriot and surmises that Eva’s aura is a black void and empty. Lexi takes a peek at Eva’s soul and finds that it is cocooned in crystal and little leaks of light are trying to take power from the immortals in the room to replenish her Magik. Lexi shares a few drops of blood with Layla to pull dragon shields and gives her knowledge to start warding the others, but it is all for naught. Wriot interjects and explains that his blood dampened Eva’s powers and that she is only feeding off him, but the effects should wane in hours.. But he has awoken her dormant beast and her need amplifies because of Hecate’s spell.
Abaddon, once again, puts Eva to sleep after they argue. The Vodka flows fast between the immortals as they try to figure out what to do with her. Sorsha moves to clean the mess in her bathroom when Io, decorated with Layla’s lipstick, materializes in her living room demanding to know what is going on. Insults and FYI’s are thrown around the room, the conversation turns as Io inquires after Judas Lear.
Lexi projects the events that led her to seek him and the death of Io’s priestess. Some of Lear’s background comes to light. His “tattoo” of the dragon is a birthmark from his mother, and each mark on his body is from powers that he has stolen. Barred from the order he now seeks the “Key”. Abaddon and Io discuss who gets to talk to Hecate, assuming she is the reason Eva’s power has gone awry. With much objection from Layla, Io goes a round with her and materializes out to speak with the Hecate, only to find that she has no knowledge of what transpired in her daughter’s apartment concerning Eva. He returns to find that Eva is now awake far sooner than expected and issues an ultimatum to her, figure out how to control her powers or be banished to the heavens for eternity. She has 24 hours to do so. Io and Layla argue about what is best for Eva and he threatens her with a new contract. Of course, having the last word, Io materializes out. Layla does as well, heading for the precinct to talk to Bourne.
Meanwhile at the precinct.... Gehnasis is in the interrogation room with Lou Cipher as Bourne and the DA Surya look on. Bourne realizes that Surya not just human and decides to trust him and informs him that Gehnasis is the reincarnation of Kali, a forceful form of the great goddess Darga and that she is, in fact, with Lucifer the Devil in the room.
She has Amnesia until Gehnasis realizes who she is; Bourne confesses he is a blood Slayer from the order of Lemur and that Surya has landed himself in the middle of a war he continues on to explain that the killer is his brother Abaddon, a god, from the order of Lemur, an order that protects mankind.
Layla appears in the bathroom making her way over to where Bourne and Surya are informing them of the situation with Eva. Lucifer takes their moment of distraction to emit his powers and Bourne pulls Gehnasis from the room quickly as Lucifer’s presence pushes them to the floor under the weight. Layla uses her Witch Magik to banish him to where he came from while Surya prays fervently that he won’t die there today. Grabbing the men up from the floor Layla materializes them back to Sorsha’s apartment.
Back at Sorsha’s....
Distraught Eva lashes out at Abaddon and locks herself in a closet frustrated, while Abaddon storms into another room wearily sitting on the bed. Sorsha enters and offers help if he should need it and he brushes her off...again.
Layla reappears, her druid dragon bouncing around in her system, the DA Surya in tow, Bourne and Gehnasis following behind.
Surya’s confusion mounts to alarm as Bourne states that the witness Anggun needs to be retrieved because she is in danger, which makes Abaddon leery because she will recognize him.
Layla calls the berserker Dragan to her side (his strength may be needed with their upcoming problems) As Sorsha and Surya materialize to her car to pick up the Anggun.
Eva exits the closet asking Abaddon’s forgives for their disagreement and he hugs her dismissing the issue between them. It comes to light to the immortals that Bourne has let Surya in on their powers. Lexi approaches Eva with the prospect of helping her control her powers. Together with Abaddon they travel to the Fae realm, home of the elemental gods. Abaddon winks out and Bourne appears in his place as Lexi brings them to the doorway of the Temple of healing.

| Chapter 10 - Spoiler:
After stepping thru the vale with Lexi Eva and Bourne fing themselves in the land of the fae. Outside a temple, where two giant dragons stand gaurd either side of the massive door way. The etchings on the temple, glow and waver, speaking in soft tongues. Of knowledge, learning , healing, and a rite of passage for young Elves coming of age.. Lexi gives them instructions, of what will unfold inside these walls, and to what purpose they serve. and what the two of them should do. With a wave of her arm, the dragons put the sheild up. Sitting on the floor facing one another, the both wait, with some trepidation.
A slow rumble shakes the ground beneath them, as images of memories so vivid and real or Eva's past, shimmer thru the temple like Haunting dreams. It is from these memories we learn that Eva and Abaddon are in fact twins born 21 December 1207AD. Their parents mag delena IxChex. the human reincarnation of Ix Chex Maya goddess of moon, rainbows and fertility. Their father Io Whiwhia Ancient God of creation. The Giver, who brings life. The very god who was betrayed by friends cursed to live a half life, The God who gave fruition to Faysal The Judge. Only to be curse by the entire heavens. Eva sees the truth of herself and that she in fact was the one destined to carry faysal. Her left hand scarred, and not her right could that have meant, the curse would end with her? or something else. And it was her brothers selfless sacrifice, to take the beast from her that spared her the arduous task of carrying Faysal... more on that later. Lexi watches from safety to the side as Eva lifts up into the air, her body fracturing into millions of bright beams, only to be drawn back into Eva's body. Lexi mused Eva was controlling her powers.
Meanwhile back at Sorsha's place Abaddon and Layla chewed the fat, passing the time. While they waited for Dragan to bring back more Vodka and the enviable arrival of Anggun the innocent Abaddon spared in his last blood hunt.
Else where SOrsha and Surya, speed off in her red Ferrari to find Anggun and bring her to safety. Finding her in a little Restaurant she is surprised to see Surya and guest instantly she assumes them to be "SPECIAL FRIENDS". Under this guise they get Anggun to leave with the. Keeping from her the truth of all of their circumstance. Making their way across town, Sorsha announces she needs to make a stop at her local liquor outlet, where they find Dragan who has one bottle of booze, and loses all train of thought at the sight of Sorshas car. Quick stock up and they were on their way.
arriving back at Sorshas one by one they file into the apartment one by one. Anggun claps eyes on Abaddon and dives head first into the nearest Vodka bottle.Surya completely shocked grabs it out of her hand and demands to know what she is thinking. Abaddon steps up and states it is his fault. Surya putting 2 and 2 together glares Abaddon for the sake of Anggun disappears with a single word. Anggun races to the kitchen and throws up all the Grey goose she'd consumed while Surya consoled her. meanwhile, Sorsha and Layla chat idly about the men in their lives.. After some time Sorsha heads off for a shower leaving Layla alone, and the other two still in the kitchen...
Gehnasis wakes up suddenly, only its not her that speaks. Traumatized by the days earlier events, Causing the sleeping goddess with Gehnasis to awaken. It is Mahakali, Hindu goddess of destruction, who speaks to Wriot black . Stunned he stammers but regains his composure. They greet each other by their true names well one of their many names. And as they lay together silently they reminisc. In one particular scene there is mention of Rikshi breaking Surya the Hindu Sun god. Interesting that the Asst district Attorney is named for this god. Could be something.. could be not.. Their Rikshi and Mahakali lay talking between each other invisible, but there. But not oblivious to their surroundings. Mahakali or Kali as Wriot affectionately calls here, is absorbing emotions, and feelings from around her surroundings. All the while Gehnasis tries to come to grips with these foreign feelings, and this new comer that is inhabiting her body. .
Anggun and Surya exit from the kitchen joining Sorsha and Layla in the lounge. Quietly Anggun sits while she formulates a plan of attack. The more the conversation flows, the bigger her list of questions expand. After rummaging thru her things she finds a postit and jots down questions. All the while Sorsha and Surya purposefully try to ease her into this new world only to have their attempts thwarted by Io who annoyingly materializes mid conversation. In one breath he manages to insult the hostess, confuse and already confused Human, irritate the other, and annoy the goddess Mahakali. all in a days work, his mission to find Layla and make sure she signs her contract... what is he up too?
Giving her an ultimatum sign of be passed on. She resides her self to no choice. He materializes out, followed closely by Layla who goes directly home to sign this new contract, the promises her autonomy and a large sum of holdings. she signed on the dotted line.
Else where Abaddon had returned home, alone and sleeping like a baby images of his past come reeling back. As he connects with his sister who is in the Fae realm learning the truth of herself. Abaddon tries to stop her from seeing. knowing she would feel guilty but the dragons hold him down and he is forced to watch. As his dream unfolds within hers.
His dream similar but different.... His cognitive connection with is mother allowing him to see as a child thru her eyes. What he witnessed that fateful day was the catalyst for him taking the beast into himself. He felt the hot tears and breaking heart of his mother as his father foretold of the fate of one of their children. would be born with a brand like callous on their right hand. of a pendant with flames rising thru it. The beast in him known as faysal would pass on that child s soul at the height of 27th birthday looking down at his hand he realized it was not him. Breaking free of the connection he waited for her to turn, to see her hand.
And so it goes on December 21 1207AD they were ushered into this world their parents none the wiser what had transpired. Abaddon whisked away from his mother to the year 1455AD where he met a 7 year old Bourne Du Hast to be raised as a member of the Order of Lemur. While his mother who grieved so deeply cursed their father for eternity the ramifications of which are still yet to be felt. She too leaving behind this side place and time, traveling forward to 1980. with Evangelize. Both parents blocking one from the other.with their grief.
Abaddon finally able to get off the bed.reaches for her and they connect. suspended in time, 2 half's of a whole together again. and he cry s.
Io shimmers in and stands in the corner of Abaddons room. Not a man of many words he grunts simply "get your shit together, we got things to do." Abaddon racked by emotions and unsure how to process them just looks up at Io stupidly and nodded. Io informs Abaddon that trouble is coming for Eva of the worst kind. And they have to stop it. With a final FYI "if you've got stuff to do or something to say to someone now is the time!" and vanishes......

Gehnasis realizing Simmons, would be panic stricken ed by her absence, she checks her message. Sure enough she had a medley of messages. Meanwhile still at Sorsha Apartment Anggun continues with her, Questioning. And layla gets an ET PHONE HOME!
Materializing in her apartment she finds a very happy very different Io lying on her bed. They play she bites, and for the first time in Eons, Io feels pain. Is this a sign of things to come? As things go with these two, they got freaking WORD OF WARNING if you have reserved sensibilities when it comes down to getting freaky and nasty... wherever Layla and Io are together, enter at your own risk *Eva says Runawaaayyyyyyyy NArrrieeeee* During the course of their romp, Io notices the significant differences, the intensity of pleasure as a human. and Layla notices something different as well. Io using his other head to do the thinking, puts a stopper in their play and they shower and return to Sorshas.
So Io can relieve her from the police style questioning Anggun is unleashing, on the immortals. Good luck getting information out of Io. So not forthcoming with the information. Upon entering the abode, Io Greets the other gods accordingly, and even apologies to Gehnasis for his lack of propriety and scruples, are we seeing a new Io? I wouldn't hold your breath. Addressing each and everyone of them, Sorsha jumps at asking Io questions and in true Io fashion he doesn't share much. After a bout of questions, Some mocking from Lexi, and Some chiding from Layla. Food is on the agenda Layla orders a mountain of Chinese of which Io, marvelously catapults food across the room hitting Anggun in the face. Laughter fills the room and Io seems some what embarrassed.
Meanwhile in the vale Eva lies incapacitated on the floor of the Vale temple as images ripple thru her. She sees I see Abaddon and Io standing in the heavens, Power so much power, I see all of my friends and friends to come sitting at Sorsha's talking. A warmth fills me. I see Wriot fighting for the one he loves and Gehnasis in her true form battling for control and release. I feel their love their hearts. Sorsha and Abaddon fighting, Loving the light saving him , Io and Layla surrounded by children. and Lexi beautiful Alexi giggling and playing with a penguin and then Bourne.
I gasp, for all I see is him shrouded in blood and death.. image after image flickers by what do we make of it all? and across the other side lost in the divide, lays Abaddon conscious and but immobile lying on the floor... what is about to unfold?

| Chapter 13 - Spoiler:
Let us go back to Sorsha's Apartment, where it seems almost everyone is there except for Eva and Bourne. There was laughter in the air as Io's prawn landed splat on Anggun face. That however wasn't Anggun's reaction as she contemplated on Io's murder and began to search for a paper to list down on what she would love to do to Io. Gehnasis enters back into the room after excusing herself into the bathroom where she tries to throw up. Wriot offered her a mountain of food on a plate which she refuses saying that she's not hungry. With that she asked her demon Kichin if he wants to eat. (What kind of demon doesn't? *rolls eyes*). He materialise onto Gehnasis' shoulder much to the surprise of the others. But not Layla, since she's already fast asleep snuggled against Io.
Hidden from the other eyes, Nakula slips a warm bottle of Japanese coffee milk to Gehnasis, knowing that it doesn’t bode well for her to starve herself just to drain her powers. On the other side of the room, Alexis snagged Io’s prawns from his box while Kichin ambled his way across the table towards Anggun and sits in front of her. There was some familiarization going on with Kichin sniffing Anggun’s hand, Alexis growing a peach from her hand and the conversations flow. Not to mention, finally Anggun gets a bit tired and stops her barrage of questions. *Praise the lord.* The banters continues in the room, especially between Anggun and Surya. (Those two can’t seem to stop)
Meanwhile, Gehnasis got another case of coppery taste in her mouth, this time because of biting her lips and again, she rushed to the bathroom and heaved. Only to find that Nakula sneaked into the bathroom too. He brought her a huge bowl of food which is just her taste and bailed out. And she ate them furiously, finally feeling full for the first time in years. Io feeling everything has sort off settled down in the apartment decided to bail out. With that, he scooped the sleeping Layla and materialized out to her house. He laid Layla on the bed and climbed into it and together they slept. (I bet you it won’t be for long.)
Back at Sorsha’s apartment, the bickering continues between Anggun and Surya, this time about how each other insinuate into the other’s life and Surya intimidating Anggun’s dates and so on. (Anyone need earplugs?) While the other immortals watched them with fascination. That is until Surya slipped and said something nasty to Anggun. Feeling hurt, she rushed out of the apartment and decided to bail using Sorsha’s beloved Ferrari, hotwiring it and drove away. Surya ran after her much to the sympathy of the others only to miss her as she took off.
Alexis, feeling she has enough excitement for the day, made her way home, while Sorsha found out what Anggun had done to her car from Gehnasis. At about the same time, Abaddon appears in the house, looking tired. Sorsha excused the both of them and travelled to his place (by the usual way of transportation among these immortals). Surya ran back up into Sorsha’s apartment and requested for help in pinpointing Anggun’s whereabouts. Kichin tracked her to be at the Grand Circus Park and Gehnasis informed him about it.
Surya walked back to his apartment to retrieve his car and drove to Grand Circus Park, where he found Anggun lying on the grass crying. He persuades her to ride home with him, since they were in the middle of the city after midnight. As he drove off back to her house, he sent a telepathic message to Sorsha. The ride was tense with silence and both went back into their apartments not talking.
Back in the haven of her home, Alexis was having a dream about the destruction of the world. And the voice of the Holy Oracle was heard warning her about the Seven Evil Spirits. Awoke and disturbed the prophetic dream, she tried to contact Abaddon, reaching his mind only to realise that he’s with Sorsha. But it couldn’t be help as Alexis felt the importance of the dream and knowing it must be related to the Betrayer.
In the mean time, Abaddon had just returned from his initiation into godhood. Only to wake up to find out that not only did he inherited his father, Io’s kingdom and powers but also his harem. They were lined up, ready to serve him. He seeks out Sorsha’s help in dealing with them. Sorsha could not contain her amusement over it. Materialising back to the Devide where Io’s harem waited, Sorsha drives a bargain with all the girls. Abaddon will release them from their service and will be given housing, money and servants as long as they agree to stay away from Abaddon and anything to do with him. And all signed the contract much to Sorsha’s relief.
With all the concubines gone, Sorsha and Abaddon starts making out only to be interrupted by Alexis asking for Abaddon’s help and Surya’s telepathic message to Sorsha informing her that Anggun left her car at the Grand Circus Park and advised her to retrieve it soon. Frustrated, the two breaks apart seeing as Alexis urgently need Abaddon’s help. Making a cut on Abaddon’s neck, Sorsha drinks his blood so that she could go to his new place at will. Abaddon, revelling in the sensations aroused, takes her against the wall. (Easily distracted, isn’t he?) As tempting as the second round sounds, Abaddon brought Sorsha into his new room and left her there as he went to Alexis’ dwelling. Sorsha awaits Abaddon watching tv but not lonely as Abaddon continues sending mental messages to her every few minutes he’s away.
Abaddon arrived at Alexis’s place where Alexis began her questions on the Seven Evil Spirits. She also requested to go through the text available at the Order of Lemur hoping that some might shed ight on the subject. Abaddon who is familiar with these Seven refused to say more other than that they are focused around Judas Lear. But he agree to bring Alexis to the Order so that she could research.
Back at Sorsha’s house, there was only Gehnasis left. She waited for Sorsha until it was almost 6am. She was starting to feel antsy since she need to go home and take a shower. She had spent the rest of the night cleaning up after everyone but not touching Sorsha’s room. Wriot arrives to give her a ride to the police station to retrieve her car since she was too tired to teleport herself. Wriot looking very relaxed and refreshed despite his dishevelled state. (A sure sign he got some). He had just returned from his house where he had left a very satisfied female, Katrina in his bed. He discovered Katrina at a club after he sneaked out of Sorsha’s apartment at three in the morning.
They had an interesting conversation at least on Gehnasis side on the ride to the police station where she explains to Wriot about her needing to burn of the excess energy trapped for 2,500 years either through battle or intercourse. And she could not do the later with a mere mortal since he or she couldn’t withstand her powers. Wriot enquires on her selection of candidates which she hadn’t decided at the moment. Arriving at the police station, she encountered a freaked out Conner who is stressed about the disappearance of Captain Du Hast (Bourne) and the witness, Lou Cipher. Gehnasis assured him that she had interviewed the witness and let him go home. Then, she sneaked out and returned to her townhouse.

| Chapter 14 - Spoiler:
Arriving at her townhouse, Gehnasis took a quick shower, waited for Simmons to packed her some food and rushed back to the office. She was mobbed at the precinct by colleagues who are readily happy to relieve her of the burden and ate her food. After she finished her report and having a bit of a spare time in her hands, Gehnasis decided to visit her friend Rati, the Hindu Goddess of Passion and Lust. She slipped into the bathroom and materialize out to Rati’s Temple.
There she asked for her friend’s help in teaching her the art of Kama Sutra. Rati however, brought in Nakula to help her out with the positions much to her consternation.
Meanwhile, Abaddon tried to contact Wriot when he returned to his house. He asked for Wriot’s help in asking Shiva about the Seven Evil Spirits and if Shiva knows anything about them. Abaddon arrived at the Lemur Sanctuary with Alexis and made their way towards Mikhale’s house. They were just in time to see Euthalia exit the house. They went in and Abaddon introduced Mikhale to Alexis since he will be helping her as he is the chief priest in charge of the scrolls. Abaddon asked Mikhale to leave the door open while they talked since they’re expecting Wriot.
Mikhale told Abaddon that Euthalia was out for Io and Layla’s blood and she was shacking up (to put in Abaddon’s term) with Judas Lear who was trying to resurrect a goddess, Judas’ mother Tiamat, the Babylonian Dragon goddess of Chaos and Darkness. Wriot arrived to bring bad news from Shiva.
The Seven Evil Spirits are said to be cast out from the heavens after they renegade on their jobs to watch over humanity and to keep peace. Although, its strange that in some cultures, they are depicted as being both benevolent as well as evil and in others, they were actually thought to be aliens from outer space.
Then, Alexis projected her dream to everyone in Mikhale’s kitchen as the host cooks. Also, the attraction between Alexis and Mikhale is apparent to everyone else in the room. Abaddon who couldn’t stand the vibe between those two bails out and suggesting Wriot to do the same thing. He materialized to downtown Detroit waiting for Wriot to do the same. However, as he waited, Dahliah appears bearing news that she is pregnant with Abaddon’s child. Abaddon was forced to promise the mother of his child anything when she threatened to take his child away unless he booted Sorsha out of his place. She gave him 12 hours to do so. Abaddon had to bail out on Wriot and he went back to his place.
Back in the human world, Anggun woke from a horrible nightmare based on her past. After showering, she received a surprise phone message from Sorsha. Apparently, Sorsha left her the Ferrari with the hopes it could cheer Anggun up. Anggun excited to get the new car, rushed off back to Grand Circus Park where she left it. But before that she stopped by her office and requested for a week holiday. She took the car around to her favourite joints back in Ann Arbor before finally drove back to Sorsha’s apartment to get the keys.
Surya woke up at almost noon after a night of heavy drinking in front of the tv, disturbed by the constant ringing of the phone. It was his boss calling him to get to work A.S.A.P and there was a new development in another case they’re working on. He got ready for work and in the mean time, decided not to disturb Anggun and give her some space.
Sorsha’s delight at seeing Abaddon, turned sour (okay, not sour, it was more like bitter) as he dropped the bombshell on her. She goes hysterical and rushed to the bathroom to throw up. He tells her of Dahliah demands and Sorsha knowing very well what Abaddon’s decision, leaves him. *Note: This is where NarLedah aka Narrie (our beloved Narrator *sarcastic*) warns everyone not to even think of retaliating against Dahliah* Sorsha returns back to her apartment and crying her heart out.
In anguish, she dialled her editor to tell him that she quit her job as a reported to the Detroit News. Moments later, Anggun arrives to pick up her keys. She was greeted by a miserable Sorsha. Anggun could sense that something was off and offered to lent a ear if needed. Sorsha appreciates the offer but refused and pass her the keys. Anggun left to return to her house while Sorsha disappears to seek solace at her father.
Now we go the Elemental Fae Realm where Alexi left Eva and Bourne alone. They tried to go back to the mortal realm but something was blocking them. It wasn’t certain how many days had past while they were there. They spent the time together eating, talking, playing, cleaning and sleeping. All the while, the lust between them escalates. Still Eva continues to shy away from Bourne, unable to let go of her inhibitions. As they drifted off to sleep, they came together in their dreams. They woke up to the shock that both had share the same dream and what transpired between them. Bitter words were exchanged and it took awhile before Eva came to her senses and apologizes to Bourne. Bourne still peeved at her earlier accusations did not make things easier and both agreed that it was best that they return. As he held her hand, the dragons descended and a doorway opened.
They arrived at Sorsha’s apartment, but she was nowhere to be seen. Bourne disappears back to his house where he was greeted by multitude of phone messages. He drew up a list on what needs to be done. He left a message at the precinct for Conner to call him back as well. He also left a message on both Gehnasis and Surya’s phone asking their well-being and apologized for dragging them into ‘the shit’, as well as saying that they need to meet up soon.
By the way, if anyone is wondering what is going on with Io and Layla, they’re doing what they do best. Engrossed with each other and oblivious to the drama that is happening around them.

| Chapter 15 - Spoiler:
Back at Mikhale’s house, Alexis was telling Mikhale stories of the Babylonian gods from the Fae archives while eating and flirting with each other. Then, they made way to the library so that they can get started on the scrolls, all the while dancing around each other. They found mentions of the Seven which is very obscure almost like a riddle (said by Mikhale). Alexis ponders upon Lear’s birthmark and what they signify and how the Seven ties to him. She also knew that Abaddon and Mikhale are purposely letting her discover things by herself without telling her outright about the Seven. While they continued to discuss, Alexis felt Anggun trying to contact her. She picked up her cellphone and dials Anggun’s number.
Anggun who had just got back from Sorsha’s, thought of going some place for a change of scenery. However, the notion of going on a holiday alone does not bode well for her. She decides to bunk in with Alexis and was thinking of how to contact her when her phone rang. Alexis welcomed her to stay at her place and gave her the directions as well as some warning on what to expect, less Anggun gets freaked out at seeing non-human creatures. Alexis sent a map to her house to Anggun’s phone. Anggun packs up the stuff she needs and set off. Only to find hours later, that she’s lost and she couldn’t contact Alexis since her phone had died.
Abaddon returns from Sorsha’s apartment to his place where Dahliah was waiting for him. Dahliah anticipating to be treated as Abaddon’s queen got furious when told that she will only be treated as the mother of Abaddon’s child and nothing more. She wasn’t able to renege from the deal between her and Abaddon since he won’t allow it. Abaddon disappears to meet the Council of Elders leaving her.
Abaddon turns up in Order Main Hall and stays in the shadows. He was glad to see Bourne who just got the word about Io’s lost of godhood and Abaddon’s ascension from the other elders. Abaddon made himself visible and Mikhale apologizes for not telling him about Dahliah earlier on. With that, the 15 elders of the council assembles and begins the ritual calling the powers of the divide. As the ritual ended, all the elders go their separate ways, Mikhale back to the library leaving Bourne and Abaddon alone. The two of them disappears to Bourne’s apartment.
Mikhale enters the library seeing Alexis still engrossed with the scrolls. At the same time, the tension between them grows too strong to be ignored so he brought them to his bedroom. As they do the mating ritual, Alexis fail to notice that her powers were creating havoc on the plants around them. It was when they were done, that they realized Mikhale’s plant had grown tremendously and they’re lying in the middle of a makeshift jungle. The phone rings and interrupt them. Apparently, Layla left a message inviting Alexis to a party for girls at her house. With that, Alexis got up and decided to head back home.
Now, we go back to Eva who was alone in Sorsha’s apartment. Not knowing whom to go to since she couldn’t reach out for her brother or father, she called a cab to take her to Wriot’s house. Arriving there, she was greeted by Wriot who had just reached home after Abaddon bailed out on him and seeing Katrina’s number written on his bedroom mirror using a lipstick with hearts everywhere (on the mirror). Eva inquires after everyone and Wriot gives her a short summary on what had happen while she was goes. In his words, “Drama, drama, PMS, drama, coffee.” Eva decided on going back to the precinct to find Conner and get her car keys. At that moment, she received Layla’s invitation and decided to do just that after she got her stuff settled for the day.
Wriot, alone now that Eva had disappeared back to Sorsha’s apartment and didn’t have to trail after Gehnasis, had nothing to do. He decided to visit Shiva but accidentally interrupts Shiva and Parvati together. He decided to come back later and walk around the Hindu Gods realm.
And now, we’re back to Io and Layla who were doing their usual own thing (I don’t need to say more, do I?) at Layla’s apartment. As the passion rises, Layla felt the need to feed and Io offers himself. She bit him, sinking her fangs into his neck as she rode him. The pain overrides Io’s pleasure and yet he stayed put as she drank from him until he couldn’t take it anymore and called to her to stop. Occupied in feeding him, Layla didn’t hear his plea, forcing him to push her off him and he ran to the bathroom, with his neck still bleeding.
Layla, horrified at what she had done to him, rushed after him and heal his neck wound. Knowing that Io’s sense is probably on overload, she assures him to find another way round for her feeding. They made their way back to the bed where she makes sure he’s comfortable and left him to sleep as she shower. She returned to find him sleeping and went to the living room. Deciding to host a girls PJ party, she called up all the girls leaving messages on their phone. So far, Alexis and Eva has replied saying they’re coming.
In the mean time, Sorsha arrives at her father’s Fae Kingdom seeking solace. She ran towards her father embrace and tells him everything starting from the night she met Abaddon, what transpired between them, what she did for him and the latest news of his child. He comforts her and invited her to stay back and live there. She refuses feeling the need to be with Abaddon and just needed to be there to be with her father and some time to get her mind straight. Her father urged her to rest in her old room.
As she made her way out of her father’s chambers, she bumps into Aengus Og, part Celtic God of Love with whom she had a thing going on before on an FTF basis. She tells him that their arrangement is over and he could understand since it was clear to him that she had found her soulmate. But he could also see that her soulmate broke her heart since her aura is all fucked up. He abides Sorsha’s request and left her. Sorsha head to her room and dove onto her bed, wondering how Abaddon is doing.
Back at Bourne’s apartment, Abaddon and Bourne had a few minutes of catching up before Bourne got a call from Conner and had to go back to the precinct. Before going out, he advised Abaddon not to let Sorsha go. With that Abaddon decided to go to Sorsha. He materializes into her room in the Fae Kingdom. Sorsha was shocked to see him and hope he’s not there for more bad news. Abaddon tells her of what he has agreed with Dahliah and that he still need Sorsha back in his life. He wanted to try even though he knew Dahliah will make life hell for both of them. And well, they make up.

Wriot heads out of Shiva's temple and walks around the grounds and ends up coming across Sahadeva. They go back to one of Sahadeva's rooms and talk about Rati's new student and women in general among other things. After listening to hours about the girl Sahadeva is into Nakula bursts in and Wriot leaves.
Gehnasis now in Rati's temple is learning the Kama Sutra with Nakula. He tries showing her the Lotus position but she is having a hard time letting go of her inhibitions. He continues to tease her with other positions and the try out the Humpback Ridge. As she falls on top of him her phone vibrates as she gets Layla's PJ party invite. She welcomes the excuse to leave.
Eva materializes back to Sorsha's and becomes violently ill. She gets herself together, calls a cab and goes to the Precinct to find Conner. She finds Conner but Bourne comes up on the elevator at that moment. Eva desperately searches for her keys. Conner waves him over to tell him that he has found a link in the cases.Bourne chastises Conner for speaking of official matters in front of Eva. She asks to make her quitting the force official and the two of them go into his office. He gives her the keys and he gets concerned she is not okay. She says she's just tired. Conner knocks on the door, Eva slips out and Conner begins debriefing Bourne, his eyes on Eva the whole time. He tells Conner to take the day off, that Eva needs a friend. They go back to Sorsha's and Conner asks Eva what she is going to do with her mothers place. She gifts it to him.He leaves and Eva heads to Layla's.
Anggun is lost but then finds a dirt road and her way to Lexi. Lexi shows her around and asks Anggun if she is up for the party. She says yes and they head for Layla's as well. Sorsha comes awake to find Abaddon has taken off already. She thanks her father for his hospitality and goes home. There she gets Layla's message and heads to New York as well.
Abaddon has gone to Bourne's apartment. He leaves the shower to find Dahliah there who wants to shop for the baby. A fight ensues as she rages that he cares nothing for her and is sleeping with someone else when her heart breaks because she loves him. He tells her he doesn't feel the same. He sends her home and goes to see Bourne. They discuss the case and Judas Lear trying to decide how to proceed. They decide to blow off some steam and they rally the men to meet at The Dragonsmead Brewery. Io welcomes the reprieve from all the women invading his and Layla's home.
With the boy altogether the talk of women begins right away. They discuss setting the harem free, E being bent on revenge, Eva being pregnant (which was the first Bourne heard about it), and Dahliah being pregnant. They order more drinks as Surya arrives. The talk turns to work and piles of casework and Abaddon apologizes for how things went down with Anggun. Surya accepts his apology and says I'm here drinking with you aren't I? They call a truce. Abaddon's phone rings and it's Eva. He asks if he should come to her, she says no as Bourne keeps trying in vain to reach Eva.
They decide to shoot some pool. The pool game goes awry as the cheating begins. Poor Surya. He learns lesson number one. Read the fine print when dealing with Immortals. Wriot walks in as they decide if they are going to gamble and decide to head to a strip club instead, Deja Vu Greektown. One by one the mighty fall. Abaddon gets called away by Dahliah. Bourne gets a message from Eva and goes to her. Io links with Layla and heads home for some lovin'.

| Chapter 17 - Spoiler:
The girls begin to appear in Layla's New York apartment. Eva introduces herself to Anggun and welcomes Sorsha to the family as her and Abaddon have made up. Lexi breaks out the Elven wine as Anggun realizes that Eva is talking about Abaddon. Sorsha pulls her aside to explain that things were complicated between them but that everything is okay. Eva begins to feel sick and Lexi decides now is a good time to tell her why, she's pregnant. She is confused as she only slept with Bourne in a dream. Lexi tries to explain how this came to be reality, tries to explain about the fairytale realm and that her child will be very important. Eva decides to go lay down while Layla orders a ton of food. Gehnasis shows up as the food is delivered (good timing) and Eva comes out for something to eat.
The girls begin to eat as they talk about dating the same sex, the opposite sex, ways to torture the opposite sex, weird places they've had sex, and well sex in general. Eva gets a phone call and announces she has a new home, The Villa. She thinks it is in the BVI but it really is in the divide. A safe haven. As Sorsha goes off to set up the Wii, Eva watches Layla and Anggun engage each other in, well what I must say, a rather pathetic game of pool. But maybe that's because they are equating it with sex. Eva goes off and calls Bourne, they leave together to Bourne's apartment. Io shows up and takes Layla out to the Serenity Pool for what else? More sex. Sensing someone is about to walk in on them Io materializes them to their bedroom. The continue their play as Io thinks this is his heaven and is thankful that he can still shield the room as Layla orgasms. (Aren't we all thankful). Layla heads to the shower and Io follows. They start to play again but then Io teases her and leaves the shower, the water turning cold. With the promise of a strip tease from Layla later on, Io heads back to the boys.
Abaddon returns to the strip club and Io joins back not far behind him. They decide to play a game. To get as many phone numbers as possible. The loser to suffer the consequences. No god powers allowed. Abaddon will sit out. As Surya and Wriot begin collecting numbers they learn once again about fine print and the gods as Abaddon begins to mess with them. Just then Judas Lear projects himself at the table. Wriot dubs him Judas Queer and they decide the best course of action is to ignore him. The boys spread out and Judas vows directly to Abaddon to kill everyone in his life, starting with his sister.Wriot ends the game by producing a phone book (cheater) and the boys decide they need some carnage. As they leave the bar Lear multiplies himself and slits the throat of every woman they talked to.
Anggun gets antsy and drags Sorsha off for some karaoke. After many rounds of singing the topic turns back to relationships, their complications, their ups and downs. And to the children relationships might produce. Lexi feels something in the wind while she talks to Gehn and Sorsha blows her off. Anggun and Gehn go back to listing ways to torture men as Lexi goes over to the window and is attacked by the first of the 7 spirits, The South Wind. Layla begins to tell Anggun and Gehn how to make a man beg and starts by showing them the proper way to do a strip tease. Lexi excuses herself from the party. Layla goes to lay down.
At Bournes apartment he asks her why she is leaving. She tells him she needs to be away from everything going on and be as normal as possible. He tells her that he is coming with her and too tired to fight him she agrees. They fall asleep together.
As the boys are hunting prey, just as Faysal comes awake NarLedah reaches out to Abaddon and connects the men together showing them what Lear had done. With them connected a raw power of the ages passes through them gifting life back to those that Judas had taken prematurely. The betrayer sees it and thinks the hunter becomes the hunted, the leader becomes the led. He has been searching for this power source for a long time. Sorsha feels the power surge from Abaddon and messages him to see what happened.
He messages her back tells her to keep everyone together, that Lear is loose and the 7 have begun and to check on Lexi. Then he messages Bourne to tell him to stay on Eva like white on rice.He turns back to the men tells Wriot to take Surya with him, Io to go to Layla's and that should all convene at the Order come sun up. So Io goes to Layla's, Wriot takes Surya to the Hindu temple and Abaddon goes to Bournes.
Sorsha getting Abaddon's message tells Anggun and Gehn what has transpired and goes off to Lexi's house to try and find her. She doesn't find her home but tracks her to the Fae Elemental Temple. Sorsha watches as the Temple Elders, Solana, Adish, Damia and Misu heal Lexi. They take the South Wind that was trapped in her body and make her an air elemental in the process. Sorsha asks Lexi to forgive her for blowing her off earlier, that she didn't realize. Lexi tells her no worries and they begin to discuss the 7 spirits and a mysterious man named John Osk, a man that is a magical void, magic cannot affect him as he does not believe in it. Lear has been using traces of this man. They discuss looking for this Osk person but decide that fate will bring him to them if it is fates will. They decide to leave the Fae Realm. Lexi heads back to Layla's as Sorsha heads back to her own apartment.
Anggun has since woken up Layla and relayed the events to her. Layla gets her battle gear on, her corset, trousers and knives. Prepared for what might come she goes out and sits with Gehn and Anggun in the living room, gifting them each with a dagger. Lexi returns and only then realizes Sorsha went home.... alone. Layla is worried and calls to leave a message for Sorsha, but doesn't reach her. She then tries to contact Io, who returns home as Lexi is filling them in better on what has happened. They discuss Lear some more and Layla asks about Sorsha. Io tells them she's fine. A storm is raging outside and Layla invites everyone to stay as Io invokes protection symbols around the house with his blood. Layla drifts off to sleep as Io holds her.
At Bournes apartment Abaddon fills Bourne in on everything face to face, as Eva is sick in the bathroom. He tells Bourne he doesn't want him to be a part of this, wants him to stay with Eva and protect her. He tells Bourne the truth about the Villa and that no one can come without an invitation. The Abaddon goes off to find a "hard eared fucking fairy" He materializes in Sorsha's room, as she has cocooned her self in a protective bubble of her room from everyone but him. He is none too pleased.

| Chapter 18 - Spoiler:
At Layla’s the girls try to sleep. Gehnasis after first discussing her fears with Kichin, and Anggun with the dagger Layla had given her clutched in her hand. Layla and Io stand by the window and talk about the storm. Yes I said TALK! Io contacts Abaddon telepathically, asking when he is going to get here and fill the gaps. This message is one of many to interrupt his and Sorsha’s fun.
Sorsha, pissed off at yet another interruption to their sex life, discusses how Kichin, has eaten her food, the slumber party, how Lexi is now an air element, and Abaddon asks about Eva and her pregnancy, all while Abaddon showers. Abaddon admits to Sorsha that things are going to get bad and on that note they go to Layla’s. Abaddon tells everyone what is happening, how Judas Lear is planning on gaining the source of Io’s power and working his way through the group killing each and everyone of them, one by one. They discuss the seven and their progressive severity and who may be pulling the strings, Abaddon believes Lear is being led by his mother.
Abaddon and Sorsha leave to look over the scrolls, where Sorsha is introduced to Mikhale, who in turn feels the need to drop his sister Dahliah into the conversation. Meanwhile, Abaddon escapes to create a new home for Sorsha and himself on the outskirts of the orders domain, somewhere they can be together, he plans a romantic evening for them. (don’t faint) Back in the Lemur library Sorsha and Mikhale go through the list of the seven, 1. the south wind 2. Dragon 3. Leopard 4. Shibbu 5. Wolf 6. A rampant (do not snigger!) 7. A storm On finding out that the second is a dragon Sorsha rings Layla, there is no answer, so she assumes that her and Io are having sex again, she was wrong! They weren’t! Abaddon returns and helps Sorsha and Mikhale as they hit the net for further information, Abaddon is on a time limit, and if he is not home in 25 minutes then dinner will be burnt. He persuades Sorsha to return with him and ‘google’ at his place! Mwahahahahaaaa! On arrival Sorsha is taken aback by Abaddon’s gift, then the alarm sounds as smoke fills the kitchen, there goes dinner. He decides a fruit platter and chocolate sauce is a better option.
For once they are not interrupted, and they have sex on the kitchen counter (I’d like to point out Layla and Io never did this) and then again in the bedroom, and again in the bedroom when Sorsha decides to go for her morning ride. (I know you are all thinking they are just making up for lost time) as they lie their Layla returns Sorsha’s message, they arrange to meet at the library.
Layla asks Lexi to watch over Anggun and Gehn before kissing Io goodbye. Lexi believes Io knows more than he is sharing, particularly as she observed how he crushed Layla to him. Io admits to her that things will worsen and he too returns to the order. Lexi, can’t watch the innocent suffer and certain the Anggun and gehn are safe behind Io’s wards she goes into the night to help.
At the sanctuary Sorsha introduces Layla to Mikhale, only to find they have already net, Layla tells what she knows of the dragon. The sanctuary also has an uninvited guest. Judas Lear. Layla senses something is amiss as a naked Abaddon appears and drawing on Faysal’s power he banished Lear. Mikhale looked on Abaddon with hatred after seeing the beast who killed his parents, Abaddon calls forth the elders, including Bourne and issues a lock down.
Bourne is paniced that Eva was left at home, however Abaddon had already ensures that Eva had been moved to his home in the divide. At thia point Io joins them, Abaddon is encouraged to clothe himself before he pokes someones eye out. They realose that Lear can duplicate hilself and Layla tells of how a witch can do that with mirrors. Bourne leaves to go to Eva, who is suffereing from morning sickness, they talk and discuss baby names and he takes her to the Villa. Layla finds out the history of Lear, they consider how he is getting his power and realise he is killing Gods. Thya try to come up with a plan, from forcing his hand to traps. Io assures them they need to wait, and research.

| Chapter 19 - Spoiler:
Abaddon returns to the order where Io informs him that Layla has returned home, Abaddon rolls his eyes in resignation. The burden of knowing his fathers fate and that of Eva's a constant reminder of the responsibility that now lay at his feet. He decides to show his father, by taking him thru time, to the corridor of mirrors. I will not go into details of what conspired while they were there as it would throw the plot out of whack. We do learn Abaddon's power name Io Matanui. The god who see's all. The finally reach their destination the Villa.
All the while Eva and Bourne are at the villa, their communication skills at best not their strong point. The sexual tension between them is rife. But Eva's inhibitions keep Bourne at bay. Their banter friendly, and teasing in nature. They talk of Love, sex, relationships and names for the babies. Unable to reach a consensus, Bourne pulls Eva under the water, and materializes out leaving her to flail like a flounder. She submerges after swallowing copious amounts "ass water" (bath water) Eva materializes in the room with Bourne intent on causing harm.
Now imagine dear reader the scene from Exorcist when the child power chucks on the priest. Eva + materializes = Exorcist impression. Bourne = Priest. Not exactly how Bourne envision this came of cat and mouse to play out. After emptying her entire stomach contents Eva's mind immediately turns to food. Mentioning her need to go get groceries. Bourne informs her they are in the heavens and all she need do is wish.
They make their way towards the kitchen to find Abaddon and Io waiting. Fire snaps in Eva as she demands the two of them bring Sorsha and Layla to the haven. Telling them they have until she returns to bring them here. She leaves and Io leaves, they assume to go home to Layla but this is not the case. As you will find out as the story line plays out. Sorsha arrives at the villa naked. While Eva makes a discovery in the bathroom that she is carrying twins. Babies who can communicate with her and others around them. She exits the bathroom to find Sorsha they hug, and go on the grand Tour. Leaving the boys alone.
Abaddon retells the events of the night to Bourne, handing him over a copy of the seven evil spirits scroll, he tells Bourne that each of the seven pertain to members within their group. And for Bourne to mull over it carefully. Meanwhile to hungry Eva wishes for a cafe style table, with a trolley full of antipasto, mezze tapa's cheeses and breads. They sit, eat and talk. the conversation flows from one thing to the next. Sex, Gods, Love loss and their dysfunctional relationships. They laugh. Still in the lounge talking Abaddon receives a telepathic message from Dahliah demanding to know why she cant come to him. Abaddon laughs and states because this is not my domain. Dahliah demands an invitation, so Abaddon connects her directly with Eva.
Long story short. Dahlia makes a power play to get Eva onside. Eva with the help of her babies see's right thru Dahliahs plight, and more to the point that the child she carries in her womb is not of the seed. A heated discussion unfolds. Eva refuses to acknowledge Dahliah as her sister and politely tells her she will never be welcome in her domain. Eva turns her fury on Abaddon, scolding him for his insensitive behavior, informing him of what her babies have said. And in typical Abaddon fashion he retorts with a smarmy comeback, which on succeeds in aggravating Eva. She kicks him out of her domain.
After he leaves, She embraces Sorsha apologizing for her brothers actions and questioning why she puts up with it. After hours of discussion, Eva queries which pertain to the relinquishing of oaths, personal space and respect. IT is during this conversation that Eva learns from her babies that Sorsha could be pregnant, but her fairy light is too bright and it is hard to see the light of life within her. Eva pry's Asking her if she and Abaddon used protection. Unsure and unwilling to admit the possiblity, Sorsha materializes to hectate who confirs her worse fears. NOw all that was left to do was inform Daddy. Returning to Eva, Sorsha breaks the news and does her own impression off the balcony of her room. Hand in hand Eva goes with Sorsha to the Divide.
As to be expected, Sorsha was greated by a wall of cold hostility, Abaddon demanding to know whow sorsha could get pregnant without his consent, and she demanding how come he didnt tell her his gene pool was of creation and fertility. again another one "duped by those Jazz finger waving fairies" Back and forth accusations fly, all the while Dahliah screams and Eva scolded.
SUCKS TO BE ABADDON. *giggles* not.
Eventually Abaddon agrees to do what he must. But because of his oath to Dahliah, Sorsha could not live here she would have to live elsewhere. Sorsha leaves. Eva berates her brother, asking why he would choose to believe a women, who traps him over a woman who has done nothing but give to him unconditionally. Without gain for herself, because she loved him. Still he refused to listen. Before Eva leaves she bluntly tells her brother the child Dahliah carries is not his. She walks away leaving Abaddon to his own devices. after some time he finally comes to his senses. And kicks Dahliah from his domain, and retires alone.
Sorsha and Eva materialize home, Sorsha felt she didn't belong in the divide, asks Eva to send her home. Eva asks Sorsha if she'd like to live here with her? Sorsha gladly agrees. Eva states she will make a guest house with its own space for Sorsha and the baby and that they could come and go as they pleased. But that only Eva could invite people to stay. Bourne prepares Lunch, while Sorsha sunbathes and Eva walks around out front deciding where to put the new guest house. And while she stands there she reminisces.

| Chapter 20 - Spoiler:
Meanwhile on earth, at Layla's Abode. The girls have slowly wake, to a brand new day. Gehnasis wakes with a start, the unfamiliar surroundings startling her. As the remnants of last nights celebration flits thru her mind, the laughter, the singing, the comradery, and the promise of new life. Draw to the surface, painful memories of her own sterility. And the loss she feels for it. Her only solace the babies pending arrival into this world.
Anggun has woken with cold cramped hands from clutching her knife all night long. Wandering into the kitchen she forages for food. As she whips up an omelet, Gehnasis wafts into the room, on the hunt for more Japanese coffee milk, she materializes a basket of fruits. While they eat, in the light of the current events, and the things to come, Gehnasis asks if she would like to come to Hindu Sanctuary. Swearing to protect her while she was there, Anggun at first had reservations but decided she did not want to be a burden so she would go.
Layla awakes and wonders where Io had gotten too. The smell of food draws her out into the kitchen. They all talk about the nights events. When Lexi appears. They all eat and light conversation fills the time.
Now if you recall Eva is at the villa in the heavens contemplating where the new Guest house should go. And as she stands there she thinks of her girls and the time they spent together. Her powers unfathomable she pulls all four women from New York into her haven. yes imagine all the squealing and girly hugs.. *rolls eyes*
Bursting with joy to see one another, Layla demands a tour, their light hearted banter, and oooing and ahhing, things took a sour turn. Bourne didn't want them there, his snide remarks and demeanor's felt by everyone except Eva, who defended him. Layla abruptly said, if she was a danger to Eva perhaps she should leave. Eva wasnt having it, she sent Bourne away to go see her brother., meanwhile the girls relaxed sunbathed and chatted.
Gehnasis, Kept recieving telepathic messages to attend her awakening celebration. She kept trying to put it off, wanting to stay and sunbathe, relaxing with the others. Until Eva asked if she had something more important to do, and if she could join her, After choosing appropriate attire She, Gehnasis and Anggun materialize out to hindu sanctuary.
Abaddon appears in the villa, wanting to talk to Sorsha. Not a man of many words he cuts to the chase, asking her if she would come to live with him. To which she refuses, and states she is going to be living here, and that Eva is going to build her a guest house. Abaddon offers to do it for her and the baby. But Sorsha's mind kicks into overdrive, still reeling from earlier, she insinuates, his intentions aren't genuine, and he was going to trick her some way. *that went down like a ton of bricks* Abaddon, simply said, "he would never force her against her will, and that she obviously doesn't know him." He made the house then left. Guilt racked Sorsha as she walked thru her new home, so she sent him a message. thanking him.
Meanwhile Layla lounges beside the pool thinking of Io, oblivious to where the others are, she goes a searching. To her delight a two new guest houses are up, and she squeals running directly towards it. Lexi follows Sorsha into her home, they chat lightly about, life love and parenting. Sorsha's fears of being like her mother, surface frequently whenever she thinks about her babies. After some reassurance from Lexi Sorsha huggs her and they head off back to the pool... oh yeah FYI... WHITE!! great for kids. *winks*
The Agenda for the Villa and its occupants, food, sun, and fun.. The banter flows freely as the girls play. Thoughts of food, and Bourne gets delegated to man the grill. Layla, returns after finishing decorating her and Io's guest house, she wonders where is he? Lexi swims, while Sorsha and Layla Lounge. Bourne cooks and curses, Eva was wrong, Bourne didnt want any of them there, He wanted to be alone with Eva. Just the two of them. His jealousy and lust was tempering and would soon boil over in rage at the women who are with him at the villa. After barking at them to help, he finally puts the last dish on the table, and demands to know when they are leaving. Layla quickly replys in jest, but it only serves to fuel his growing anger. He leaves them to eat, and retires to the bedroom to play GOW.
Lexi trys to placate him, but he ignores her, consumed by GOW. The others sit and talk at the table about the men in their lives, and how theyre not so "shary" but all of them sense something is off wit Bourne they just didnt know what.
Now still back on earth.. Dahliah scorned and vengefull stupidly seeks out Judas Lear. Offering up her soul to get what she wanted. Revenge. He laughs at her but takes her offer, Her first mission, to retrieve His Dragon Journal from the order, before she left, he poisoned her blood with his, telling her should she fail or tell anyone of her plans, the poison would creep like a sickness and kill her painfully and slowly.

Abaddon sends Mikhale home as he can't get over the fact Abaddon is Faysal, Abaddon gives the research task to Shailoh. Sorsha returns to Abaddons home and Abaddon joins her to see what he can do to help, Alexis contacts them there asking for Sorsha's help. Layla returned home since Anggun and Gehn were alone, she left Io in the santcuary with a mental picture of what she would like to do to him. On her return she went to bed. Anggyn and Gehn awoke and discussed what was going on over breakfast.
Meanwhile in the night, Alexis and Abaddon try to stop the south wind>Alexix hopeful that Abaddons 'god woo woo' will work. On realising that the people are under a hex they send for Sorsha, boosted by Abaddon's powers, and protected by Lexi's shields Sorsha reaches deep into herself finding the spell she pushed her power into the world. lexi uses Solano to calm the south wind as the world returns to normal. Sorsha vomits in the street and then faints, Abaddon sends her home and Lexi returns to Layla's, but not before Abaddon gives her a tube of lipstick to draw a target on her forehead.
Whilst all of this was happening, Wriot and Surya were hiding out in the Hindu Sanctuary, where Wriot introduces him to Shiva, Parvarti, Rati, Kamadeva and Surya, the sun god, telling him the story of how he lost his teeth. Surya wants to know if gods party like this all the time, particularly when Rati asks if he would like to studt the Kama Sutra.
Gehnasis materializes with Anggun and Eva directly in front of Shiva and Parvati, interrupting a performance. She throws her self at his feet, and he embraces her warmly. Introductions all round, while one friend stands there gaping in awe the other pulls her exorcist impression, 10 points if you can guess who? Eva literally vanishes in thin air. Gehnasis wonders where Eva had gone, and decided she would introduce them to everyone later, after Eva returned she would move the party to Nakula's palace, to include Sahadeva, Nakula's cursed twin brother who is bound for all eternity to live within the walls of his brothers palace. Gehnasis spots Surya the mortal and wonders if Wriot brought him here.
Meanwhile somewhere in Shiva's place Eva is holed up in a bathroom that looks like a garden with her mysterious savior. Thanking him for saving her from embarrassment, she goes to inquire his name, but they are abruptly interrupted by someone coming into the room, barking orders to hurry up.Eva assumed that the newcomer was talking to the man, she complied and followed him back into the ballroom, she needed to find someone familiar.
On the other side of the ballroom, after having a discussion with Rati about her new student and that Nakula is the tutor. Wriot laughed heartily, knowing the god hated to untrained innocent types. When he asked who the student was Rati informed him it was Mahakali. His laughter died and was replaced with anger. Clapping eyes on Nakula he stormed across the ballroom, and literally dragged Nakula outside, where he proceeded to talk to him with his fists.
Of course as with most people when they are angry, they only tend to take in the pieces they want to hear. And not actually listen, and then process. Nakula finally manages to break free of Wriots rage, and finally manages to talk to Wriot, informing him he didn't know till after the fact, who the student was. And that he was the only one available that could. Wriot warns him to stay away and that a new partner for her had been found. Should he venture near her again, he would kill him and stuff his soul in a jar for all eternity.
Back in Shiva's ballroom Gehnasis anxiously waits for Eva. When she sees her moving thru the throngs of people, she offers her a drink of Goji juice. Good for mama's. Eva's eyes pop out at the sight of Genhasis outfit, they smile and embrace. As promised the goji juice worked wonders, Gehnasis spoke to the babies asking them to behave. As Eva admires Gehnasis dress, Gehnasis states they're good for hiding tummies and roomier for when you get too full. Eva wishes she had chosen something like that. Gehnasis Materializes one on her, but Eva doesn't realize till some time later. As they talk, Gehnasis moves the party to Nakula's castle, to the delight of Sahadeva.
Gehnasis embraces him warmly, and introduces Eva. Who he eyes with curiosity. Eva turns on her heels to take in the palace, when she spies Anggun approaching them from the food table, where both her and Surya had been exchanging words. Again his winning charm and wit rules the day. Succeeding in pissing Anggun off even more than she already was. Consumed by her anger, she hadn't realized the venue had moved until she stood back. Finally Anggun reaches them.
Nakula appears out of nowhere to thank Gehnasis for moving the party, she states "I didn't do it for you!" and he brushes her off. Turning his attentions to Anggun who balances her plates precariously. Both twins rush to her aid, upon spying Gehnasis dress, Nakula snaps his fingers and gifts Anggun with a beautiful Sari, the twins laving attention on her much it Surya the mortals dismay.
They sit, to eat and chat. Eva by herself, Anggun between the twins, they spoil her with attention. Meanwhile at the opposite end of the low table, Gehnasis and Surya, talk some what strained. As they discuss their partnering for lessons with Rati. Their conversation flows awkwardly the outcome, Surya the mortal with his foot in his mouth and Gehnasis withdrawing, her insecurities rearing their head. All the while Suri just wanted to talk to Anggun.
Someone asks the where abouts of Wriot and Eva points in his direction. He approached like a rolling thunder cloud. He claps eyes on Eva and sends her home immediately. Gehnasis growls at him materializing outside of the villa's shield, asking to be let in. She apologizes to Eva about things and asks if she would like to go back. Eva nodded, and tried to get a word in but it was too late, they were back at Nakula's castle.
Now Eva had tried to tell Gehnasis to give her a moment, the rapid materializing and empty stomach left her queasy. She tries to quell the funneling sensation, as everything blurs. But it didnt work. Exorcist time again. Her victim Surya The Sun god. The silence that followed was deafening. Eva slumped over mortified beyond belief.
What would happen now?

| Chapter 22 - Spoiler:
Thankfully Wriot's bellowing laughter broke the silence, the other gods soon followed suite.
Anggun rushed to her feet to comfort Eva who stood, shocked, paling and mortified. Gehnasis ushered her towards the bathroom. Anggun returned to the other chiding them as she assumed they were laughing at Eva. It is here she learns no one particularly likes Surya the sun good, which is followed quickly, but a brief history lesson. About his fake teeth and Virhbadra's part in it. She laughs Lightly. As Sahadeva offers her a gift. At first she is hesitant but eventually she places her hand in his henna tattoo's and bracelets appear, she giggles with glee. All the while Surya looks on boring holes into the heads of the twin gods.
Eva finally returns to the table with Gehnasis. Wriot hugs her impulsively, acknowledging the twins, delighted with their recent projectile carnage. A bond is struck. They sit all the while Wriot observes the comings and goings quietly. In particular Surya the mortals non-to-pleased stares directed at Sahadeva an Nakula. Mentally kicking himself Wriot hums and harrs about getting Surya out of partnering Gehnasis. As it appears he is interested in someone else.
Eva sits quietly rubbing her belly, still somewhat embarrassed, she contemplates apologizing to the sun god. But her babies having taken a shinning to Wriot calling out to him to come play. She decides it would be best not to go anywhere near The God. Lest her babies start a war. During their conversation the babies Address Wriot as Virahbdra. When Eva asks which he prefers, Gehnasis answers stating he prefers Wriot, as Virahbdra is the name the gods call him. Gehnasis and Wriot both offer their services for babysitting should Eva ever need them.
At this time we also learn thru both Gehnasis and Wriot's thoughts, that they are both sterile. While they love children being around them is a bitter sweet reminder of their inability to procreate. As they were both conceived of anger and war, simply appearing. I have a feeling these to ancient beings are going to spoil Eva and Sorsha's children rotten.
Wriot, revels in the antics of the twins, their mama rolls her eyes, and asks him not to encourage them. Not even a week old their physcic abilities already powerful. The last thing she needed was to upset anyone. She thanks Sahadeva for saving her from puking on Shva, and they strike up a friendship of sorts. finally noticing her attire had changed. She asks who had gifted it to her, Sahadeva pointed to Gehnasis who was still sitting chatting with Surya, who she named aptly Suri. A name which Anggun points out only his parents had ever called him that.
Eva mouths the words thank you to Gehnasis, then continues her conversation with Sahadeva. At the time, another performance had started. Surya the Son god stood across the room, glaring at Eva with malice. To which the babies react. Coincidentally servants wander past carrying more trays of food. Just as one who held a platter of hot Dahl. A bead from one of the dancers outfits came loose, the servant tilted, and swayed dangerously but still managed to gain her footing steadying the platter. Only to have an invisible assailant caterpaults the tray out of her hands. The target of the hot Dahl Surya the Sun God. The babies giggle.
Wriot bursts into laughter again, saying this is the best celebration ever. Eva decides this would be a good to vacate the premises. Sahadeva stops her, stating Mahakali and Virahbdra would chew up the sun god and spit him out. Wriot agrees and asks the babies to behave, or he might not be able to bring them back. The conversation around the table continues.

| Chapter 23 - Spoiler:
Meanwhile, Surya continues to speak with Gehnasis, his eyes wandering back to Anggun. This doesn't go unnoticed, Wriot and Gehnasis connect, both thinking the same thing "Match Making". All the while Wriot rubs Eva's belly talking to the babies. As Gehnasis watches, her excitement in that moment drowned by her sorrow, as she yearned for something she couldn't have. Leaving herself wide open, her lack of concentration, allowing Nakula a door way in. He speaks in her mind, offering to father children with her. To which she scoffs. unconsciously speaking out loud. Trying to brush it off as she was simply talking to herself, but they didn't believe her. So she turned back towards Surya and strikes up a conversation about their pending partnering.
Surya too preoccupied with his new found jealously. Angry that Anggun would flirt with strangers let alone except girts. Half minded Surya responds to Gehnasis questioning if he understood what the partnering would entail. He had no idea, and to be frank he would prefer she be up front with him, if she didn't want to do it. In his way he was offering her an out.
It is at this moment 2 things happened both with disastrous repercussions.
1. Gehnasis who's insecurities about her beauty and sexuality come raoring to the surface. While to look at her you all see her obvious beauty. Imagine the many years of fake civility, from men who pretened to be her friend. Men, women, both mortal and imortal who feared her wrath. Never truly seeing her gentle, caring motherly nature. Only 4 men had openly embraced her.
* Shiva who thought of her as a daughter * Virahbdra who thought of her as a sister * Sahadeva who saw her only as a friend * And Nakula who well, honestly in Gehnasis mind just wants to screw her. *i think he is smitten with her * All of these men never really treating her in a sexual way. Imagine what effect Eons of never exeperiencing, sexual freedom, intimacy and unconditional love of someone seeing you, and loving all facets of your inner self, and excepting them as part of a whole. Then you might have an inkling as to how Gehnasis feels right at this moment. The moment that Surya inadvertanly rejects her.
Her perception of his offer, she took personally as " she was not good enough, and that he couldnt even pretend to like her." Excusing herself she exits the ballroom hastily heading straight for the pond in the garden Sahadeva had built. She stips in the night and dives into the pond, hoping the water will wash away her woes. Or atleast drown them out for the time being.
The second part...
1. Surya and Gehnasis discussion arouses Angguns curiosity. He quickly informs her of his pending arrangement and then proceeds to put his foot further into his mouth, by offering Gehnasis an out. Oblivious to his blundering he looked around the table anxiously unsure of why Gehnasis had left so suddenly. Anggun's hackles get up at his insensitivity, informing him his actions and words. Made Gehnasis feel she was unworthy, not good enough to partner with him, and asks him how could he be so insensitvie. He goes to respond *insert Anggun giving him the hand* cutting him off , stating merely "no don't answer I already know first hand" and gets up too walk away. *poor bloody Surya*
Eva distracted gets a message to return home, but before she leaves she asks Sahadeva if she could return to visit. and if she could ask a favor. He nods his head and snaps his fingers. Sending her home with three words "you owe me"
So now the Gods sit around the table, and jibe at Surya. Praising him with for his wonderful skills with women. A discussion unfolds between Nakula and Wriot as to who would go and get Gehnasis. Nakula deciding it would be best if Wriot went since he would most probably take advantage of the situation. Wriot materializes out to find her.
Meanwhile on earth...

| Chapter 24 - Spoiler:
Io had fianally shown up at the order of lemur seeking Abaddon to ask a favour of him. Informing him of all the following.
A pact was made between himself and the druid council.. Which involved a child being conceived of both Druid and the Io pantheon's bloodline.
Io thinking because he had Layla (part druid) eventually he could impregnate her, but the councils stipulation, that this person be acknowledged by them, and that specifically the Io god line be passed down from him. A slight oversight on Io's part. granted he was distracted at the time.
He had sought to find away to resolve the pact, but without his god hood in tact, the Druid council would consider the pact annulled leaving Layla to the mercy of the Druid council. This he could not allow. Io approached Abaddon leaving his, and Layla's fate in his hands. The possible outcomes?
1. I become a slave to their whims, 2. they kill me bring me back and kill me again, 3. I die to be reborn thru you.
1 and 2 would not do because either way it still left the pact null, there for allowing the druids an out to attack Layla. changing the fate of Layla, who was needed to battle the second of the seven evil spirits.
Now that only left option 3 only Abaddon and Io could sense a void in Sorsha's womb. Which meant there child or as we know now, one of their children was soulless. So 3 the only conclusion.
Now what you are most probably thinking is what the hell Abaddon has to do with his father being reborn. Io would need to die and be reborn thru his son. To full fill that part of the pact, A seed from Io with the god power. Which Io points out can happen thru Sorsha. Abaddon queries this. And Io explains.
Technically Sorsha is a descendant of the druid blood line as Fae and Druids descend from one bloodline. Her fathers crown, is acknowledged by the druid council. To resolve the pact, Io's god power, can only be inherited thru his line. But because the of the pact he made, his essence had to be a part of the transference. Thru Abaddon's blood the children Sorsha carries already inherited this gene to ascend to the god hood of Io. But not the essence of Io himself. This is why he had to die so that he could pass into the child.
Now what you are thinking is how a child can have two souls? They cant. NarLedah had made their son Soul less for this purpose. why? Because of the Seven Evil Spirits. Layla is an integral part of defeating the 7. if Io's pact with the Druid council was annulled her life would have been forfeit. and the Seven could not be defeated.
All that was left was for Abaddon to kill his father. However Abaddon was not willing.. In step NarLedah the first and eldest of their pantheon. Bringing Abaddon around to her will she forced him to take action. She hurtled Io onto the knife that she had laid in Abaddons hands. forcing his hand upwards piercing Io's heart with the blade. Upon Io's death, his soul and ouisa shot to the heavens then his soul descended back into the blade of destiny chaos and Creation. Leaving no trace Io had been there.
As she left, she spoke to Abaddon warning him what transgresses between us stays. They are not to know. She then sent him to Sorsha. where Abaddon to complete the transfer of his fathers soul. Assuming he had to stab her to release Io's soul, NarLedah took hold of his arm and brought the blade down and placed it on her belly. As he did, light filled the room as the blade, was absorbed into Sorsha's body. The Pact fulfilled. Abaddon Stammered backwards, as Sorsha came too. He called out for Eva to return, so they could face them all together. ...

| Chapter 25 - Spoiler:
Meanwhile Eva sends a telepathic message back to Gehnasis in Hindu Heaven informing her that her father had passed. Also leaving an open invite to Gehnasis, Anggun, Wriot, and Surya to come and go thru the divide at will. Conversation between Gehnasis and Wriot, unravels as she tries to hide her insecurities. They return to the ball room where she grabs Anggun and they leave to return to The Villa.
After the girls leave the party Wriot asks who sent Eva home, Sahadeva puts his hand up. Wriot grumbles, about the lack of beautiful women at their table and Nakula points to Surya. Yes people he has such wonderful charm. *giggles* A ripple of power surges thru the palace, Sahadeva lapses into one of his Physic episodes. Nakula jumps to his feet, he and Wriot rush Sahadeva to his bedroom. This room was reinforced to hold in power by all three of the main Hindu gods.
As they lie him on the bed he raises his arms, in submission as his brother fits shackles made by Vishnu, to hold him in place while his body racks with fits, which his body releases waves of power. Power which he is suppose to keep dormant. If Sahadeva uses them they kinda explode. The only person capable of withstanding them is Nakula. Since it is his power as well. Wriot leaves to find Surya in an empty ballroom. deciding to call it a night Wriot materializes them back to his palace, offering Surya sanctuary, and should he need anything just to call the servants. And while all the drama unfolds in the heavens and on earth they sleep peacefully.
Back to the villa. Gehnasis and Anggun arrive at just in time for Abaddon's bombshell. Layla unable to speak sits in silence while she processes things. Abaddon and Gehnasis talk silent amongst themselves. As Gehnasis offers to temper some of Layla's grief. But something new catches her attention. A cold hatred directed at all of them, and a fierce possessiveness shrouding Eva. Which ebbs off Bourne. Gehnasis queries if she should take some of his feelings, but states clearly it takes a while for her body to process feelings and that she might end up Lesbian obsessed with Eva for a short time. Which given Bourne's current hostilities would not be a good Idea. Abaddon tells her of what he knows and that he is powerless to stop what is to come. Gehnasis informs him she will go ask Kamadeva for help since she finally understood the meaning of what he had told her about Love being a blessing or a disease, as she watched Bourne.
Anggun discovers that she has a new found power. She can gleam minds and hear thoughts. Which is a kind of bi-product from traversing the heavens, and soon she will find that she will stop aging. Sorsha, grows increasingly concerned at Layla's lack of communication, as she sits shrouded in shock. Light banter unravels and Abaddon builds a new guest wing to for Anggun, and Lexi as Gehnasis stated she will stay with Layla. Bourne's ever growing anger unravels, Abaddon tells his sister to go embrace him, show him her love. The retire to her room.
In the master bedroom, Eva questions why Bourne is so hostile, and he lays it all on the line. HOw he wishes to be alone with her, bar Sorsha and the baby he wanted the rest of them to get gone. So he could be alone with the woman he loved. Eva went all misty eyed and leaps into his arms. Fire snapped in his eyes, as lust crawled within. An obsession bordering on insanity, something his father had succumbed too, how Bourne was conceived. He pinned Eva against the wall tearing at her clothes, hungrily kissing her while she begged him to stop. Bourne able to control himself barely pulled off her and growled with fierce intensity. Eva admitting she couldn't give him what he wanted but could offer him something else. For Bourne it wasn't enough but it would do. They spent the night in each others arms. Exploring each other tenderly.
Still in the lounge the conversation halts. A shiver of fear breaks thru the villa, both Gehnasis and Abaddon feel it. Fighting the urge to bust in on them and crack some heads. Knowing he is needed here, he frantically tries to find food. Making himself something to eat he sits and watches the others interact. A whooshing0 sound followed closely by giggling and a barage of words , Abaddon stares at Sorsha's belly as his baby informs him her brother is asleep. She? he asks out loud. Then like a rumbling shift great evil filters up from the earth and too the Heavens. Gehnasis wanting to leave to find out information, held her ground to stay with Layla, knowing she would need comfort. Lexi deciding there is nothing much she can do presently shimmers out to the order to mull over texts. While the other girls retire to their guest houses to rest. Leaving Sorsha and Abaddon alone.
Anggun gleefully rushes to their new home, and gets to wishing... Decorating there home in no time, she resists the urge to do Lexi's room. Settling in, she materializes herself some Pecel Lele and relaxes. Meanwhile back in Layla's room Gehnasis lies beside her absorbing the edges of Layla's sorrow. They fall fast into sleeps embrace. Abaddon remains with Sorsha in silence as he continues to talk to the babies.
Eva and Bourne return to the Lounge room with the others. Abaddon asks if he can leave, their conversation turns to his concerns about the night before, He tells Eva to keep Bourne close, show him her light, embrace him and let her love wash away the darkness that is forming in his soul. While they hold each other Layla returns to the lounge, full of fury and anger she picks up the nearest thing (glass of water) and throws the contents at Abaddon. He braces himself for her anger, and grief.
It is hard to summarize the grief that flowed from Layla at this time. As no words I can think of would do justification to the magnitude of how much Io's loss means to her. Abaddon and Eva seemed unaffected and uncaring their capacity for compassion, and emotion some what limited. Plus they knew the truth of things. This was what Layla wanted. To know why? and how come she "daddy's little fuck buddy" isn't worthy of knowing. Around and Around in circles they went. Abaddon unable to tell her why, and she to consumed with grief. Abaddon tries his best to console her... this is a quote of what he said...
""The truth of it Layla, is I cant tell you why! But know this, he died with you in his heart, mind, body and soul. He gave up his god hood to be with you. To have one small chance of living a iife that was solely his, a life that was complete. You made him the happiest I had ever seen him." I pause for a second as I look up at Sorsha's belly.
"So let your sorrow flow and eventually it will pass, because we are all reborn ..." I paused waiting for NarLedah to cut my words off.. but they came freely " and one day you may meet him again. "
Layla too consumed in her grief missed the little moments in which Abaddon tried to make known to her without voicing it, that Io was here with them. This didn't go unnoticed Sorsha picked up on it straight away. Layla attacked beating her fists into Abaddons chest, he stood there and took her assault. asking simply "Are you done". Yes comfort so not Abaddons bag. Gehnasis awoke feeling Layla's surges of grief ran to her aid. Stepping aside Abaddon let her come, to offer Layla something he couldn't give. In the midst of her grief the dragon mocked Layla, adding another layer of torment. Gehnasis siphoning some of Layla's grief, as Sorsha noted a truly selfless act. Gehnasis disappeared back to the guest house with Layla so she could rest. Sorsha deciding Bourne and Eva needed privacy drifted off asking Abaddon if she would see him later... He didnt answer.
Moving towards the her guest house, she sensed Gehnasis still awake they speak telepathically, Gehnasis invites her over. Where she informs Sorsha she could be having twins possibly more.
