| - Spoiler:
Name: Pele. I remain surname-less, unless you follow the Western tradition of adopting your father’s second name. If you do, you can consider Milohai my last name.
But I don’t.
Age: Timeless. I can switch between appearing as a wrinkled old lady or a young Hawaiian woman.
Sexuality: Mostly straight, although I’m open to being persuaded differently.
Physical Description: Of an average height and a dark complexion. A wild, untamable mass of dark cloud growing from my scalp. Big, dark eyes, and full lips, as is typical of my race. Statuesque, with the body of a classic film star, unwilling to bend my appetite so I can resemble a twig. I also find that my men have no complaints about me not being extremely petite, because I can withstand the vigorous physical activities they like to engage in. =]
Parentage: My father is Kane Milohai, but that is not saying much, because he directly parented several other Gods, and in addition, the entire Hawaiian race. However, there are some favorable things about him, including the fact that he created the heavens, sky and earth.
My mother was very different. While she is decidedly deceased, she was the goddess of fertility and the reason why I have some questionable siblings – they could be referred to as beasts, but the kinder word would be creature, and I mean that literally. My mother did not hesitate to give birth to animals. Furthermore, she was the goddess of sorcery.
Favorites: I love watching the lava flow. Although this seems perverse, I very much enjoy being angry. I love growing Ohi’a Lehua and dancing the hula. I take an active interest in the land, and coupled with that is my desire to know things. It is not a quiet desire I fill in the dark corners of the library, for I am very aggressive about learning and refuse to let useful information pass me by. I love parties and social gatherings, but don’t let that fool you into thinking I’m friendly. I like to seduce men on a regular basis. Not because I need them, but because I want them. I like the color red.
Dislikes: Clingy women. People who betray me. People who upstage me. My elder sister, Namakaokaha’i, who defeated me. Men who fear me because I am strong, and I don’t kowtow to them, to make them feel manly. I only value strong men, those who are masculine enough to handle me. The rest can hide at home with their bland lovers, waiting for the real men to run the world. And those men, the ones with their penises shriveled so, disgust me.
Personality: I am very sexually charged. I like sex and lots of it, and demand nothing of men other than their complete dedication to sexual hedonism. While in my day I was once very passionate about being emotionally involved in men, I’ve forgotten that silliness and moved on.
While my emotional banking has become extinct, my sense of vengeance from that era has prevailed. While I won’t bother you if you make the right choices, my temper gets the hold of me at the best of times. And believe me, you do not want to be at the wrong end when something manages to make me mad. I lose all reasoning when angered.
I kill those who cross me, although I’m trying to control that impulse.
Furthermore, I am not overly friendly. If you remain under my radar I will be civil, if you impress me I can even be nice. I have been known to reward many times over those who do me a kindness. I am not irrational when it comes to those who help me.
I am strong, almost to a feral point. I retain many ancient Hawaiian customs, such as being fluent in the language. I can get very passionate about the things I care for – if someone damages the land, such as littering, or stealing from my ceremonial home, such as taking one of my lava rocks, I become something to be feared.
Special ablilities: I am the goddess of fire, volcanoes, lava, lightning and violence. I am known as a destroyer, but also a creator – while my lava kills plant life and human life, it also creates land, expanding and making land.
